Creative Workshop with Unterweger Nursery On Saturday, December 14th at 2:00 PM, all young craft enthusiasts are invited to join the Unterweger Nursery for a creative workshop! Using autumn flowers, dried blooms, branches, and pine sprigs, we'll make lovely little wreaths for the front door, children’s rooms, or even floral crowns for the hair. An afternoon of creativity and nature’s magic awaits!

The musical magic of Advent is accompanied by the Eggental flugelhorn trio and the alphorn players from Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente, whose sounds create a unique, festive atmosphere and turn the setting into an unforgettable experience. The Schützenkompanie Welschnofen | Nova Levante will provide warming drinks and delicious snacks from the bread oven. A special highlight for children: marshmallow roasting at the fire bowl – a fun activity for the whole family that will light up children’s eyes!

Children's face painting: bright colours and lots of glitter promise great fantasy faces Some rooms of the Garni Café Sport are the backdrop for the forKIDS programme. Afternoon meetings with creative craft workshop, a Christmas bakery, picture theater, face painting and great games take place here to make the Advent and Christmas season the most exciting time for your children. While your children play in the warmth, you can take your time to visit the Christmas market and the numerous shops in Dobbiaco. Participation is free of charge and booking is not required.

Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, re-adapted and accompanied by live music and carols is the most famous Christmas story. It is the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an old miser, a man who, in order to react to the pain of his own fate, has long since found his remedy: to get rich. His one great fortune, the one that will save his life, is to have had a friend: Jacob Marley. Marley in the form of a spirit offers to show Scrooge the evil he accomplishes, the beauty now lost and the beauty still possible. In his tale, Dickens seems to suggest this: it is important to recognise the true values of life, to be cheerful, to indulge one's heart, to be with one's loved ones. Heart, to be with our loved ones always and especially at Christmas. All this will be brought to the stage by the narrative voices of the Piccolo Teatro mixed with pieces played live by musicians to accompany the audience towards the most magical time of the year.

Starting at 5:00 PM, the vocal group 'Helios' fills the Christmas market with festive melodies. With their harmonious voices, they create a warm atmosphere amidst the winter mountain landscape, inviting everyone to share in the spirit of the season."

S. Bach: Magnificat BWV 243 Works by Jan Dismas Zelenka and J. S. Bach will be performed at the Advent-Christmas concert by the Czech Ensemble Inegal under the direction of Adam Viktora. Zelenka was a contemporary of Bach and Händel and is considered the most important Bohemian master of the Baroque period. Zelenka's Christmas Mass presents a vivid picture of the sonic splendor of the High Baroque in Dresden. Bach intoned the text of the Magnificat with all the splendor and weight of late Baroque content, creating a unique, cohesive and powerful work. It is one of Bach's most popular vocal works.

On December 14th, the DUO "All Eyes On" with Camilla Guerini & Christian Kröss will transform the Christmas market into a special atmosphere. Their music thrives on contrast, comprising original compositions and selected cover songs. Ranging from Soft-Rock to groovy Southern Country, their music offers a diverse experience. Harmonious two-voice singing lines and the interplay of both guitars often take center stage in their songs. Immerse yourself in this wonderfully festive pre-Christmas time and enjoy the live music on the church square in Algund! The Christmas Market is open on the following days:

Under the direction of Giacomo Loprieno, the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra presents a unique homage to the music of the great Italian composer Ennio Morricone. The concert programme consists of new, mostly lesser-known but beautiful titles from Maestro Morricone's boundless repertoire and fills the new show "alla scoperta di Morricone" with life.
