On this adventure hike, we immerse ourselves in a time when life still had an uncomplicated course, when there were no access roads to the mountain meadows, the tools were simple and basic, yet sophisticated, and of course there was no smartphone for a long time. We set off on foot and reach the mountain meadow, where we will explore the topic of mountain hay, not just thematically. For this weeks version "Light" we go to a mountain meadow at the end of the Ratschings valley. The exact location has not yet been decided. It will probably be the meadow about 300 m behind the Kneipp facility. The starting point is the Ratschings Jaufen cable car valley station (also accessible by bus), from where we will continue together towards the end of the valley.

The traditional evening market takes place again in Antholz Mittertal. At the colourful market stands you will find local specialities, products from our alpine pastures, souvenirs, decorative products, confectionery, clothing and footwear. The guided summit hike takes us from the Ratschings-Jaufen mountain station past the Wasserfaller Alm to the Rinnersattel. We reach the 2,331-metre-high Fleckner via the Jaufenkamm ridge. On the way back to the mountain station we pass the Äußere Wumblsalm and stop at the Saxnerhütte. This hike is only recommended for people aged 14 and over.

The 8 summit march - a mountain tour of a special kind! This high alpine extreme tour covers 25 km and 3,000 metres in altitude. The route leads from the picturesque, medieval town of Glurns in the valley to the mountain peaks in the Stilfserjoch National Park. At each of the 8 summits you receive a stamp, which must be stamped on the start card. Only recommended for real mountain enthusiasts. Info: R e g i s t r a t i o n Registration takes place via the online ticket sale, which is possible until 20 July 2025 at the advance booking price of € 70.00. From 21 July 2025, the ticket will cost € 80.00 (unless the number of participants of 500 has already been reached). From 24.07.2025, registration will only be possible by telephone. S t a r t The church service will take place in the Frauenkirche church at 03.30 am. From 04.00 a.m. - 05.30 a.m. the start packages will be handed out at the Glurns Festival site. The clowns are two lovingly developed characters who tell their stories in a lively and cheeky way and make you laugh. Herbert and Mimi are home alone. They should actually be asleep. But the sandman has left again, and to get tired, the two of them play a game. And then another game. And discover the joy of winning and the sorrow of losing. And suddenly nothing is as it should be. Total chaos. But with the help of the audience, Herbert and Mimi make their way through the chaos so that the world is back in order. Afterwards, the children receive a lantern for the lantern parade.

For two days, Kaltern will be all about its local wines. "A well-rounded experience" - preparing original South Tyrolean dumplings Experience a guided panoramic hike over the Platschjoch to the rustic Ungererhof in Schluppes, where we prepare original South Tyrolean dumplings together. Walter will show you the right way to shape the dumplings. Afterwards, we will taste the delicious traditional dish together. You will receive the recipe, so that you can make this classic South Tyrolean dish at home. Drinks are not included in the price!

Out of enthusiasm for alpine folk music and the joy of making music together, musicians from the Teis band founded the group ‘Teiser Tanzlmusig’ in 1997. In 2002, the ‘Teiser Tanzlmusigfest’, a festival that is still unique in South Tyrol today, was organised for the first time. Traditional, down-to-earth folk music, social get-togethers, local specialities and delicacies and a pleasant time are the focus of the event. The event begins at 09.30 am with a Holy Mass on the festival square in Teis. This is followed by the performances by various music groups.
