Ice Skating Fun in the Heart of Algund Starting Saturday, November 30, and continuing through mid-January 2025, ice skating enthusiasts can glide across the ice, practicing spins while improving endurance, coordination, and balance. Beginners are also welcome to join in the fun and can rent skates on-site. Just grab your hat, scarf, and gloves, and you’re ready to go! If your hands get chilly despite all the activity, you can warm up with a hot drink and a snack from the food stand. The church square sparkles in christmas lights, soft Christmas music and the smell of mulled wine and fresh pastries wafts through the air - on Friday, November 29th, it's finally time: the Algund Christmas Market opens its doors. 15 stalls and two food stands are eagerly waiting to sweeten your Advent season with regional crafts, hot drinks, and traditional dishes. The diverse offerings will be rounded off with musical performances, a show kitchen on Saturday evening, the large gingerbread house from the Tauber bakery, a children's program, and of course, the ever-popular ice skating rink. Since its opening, the ice rink in the centre of Schenna has enjoyed great popularity. Anyone who wants to take to the ice is in exactly the right place in Schenna. The 12x30 metre artificial ice rink offers locals and guests the chance to do their laps on the shiny surface right in the village centre. Skates and helmets can be rented. Farmers' market in Bruneck! Eleven farmers sell every Friday their own products: vegetables, fruits, jams, bread, eggs, meat and cheese in the center of Bruneck

Come and delve into a real-life wine experience at the bio farm Rielinger. The wine farmer will give you a tour of the vineyard, explaining the different grapes and their cultivation. We cultivate the white wine varieties Blatterle, Müller Thurgau, Kerner and Riesling as well as the red wines Schiava and Zweigelt. After the vineyard tour you’ll hit the cellar where we show you how the wine is fermented and aged. At the end of the tour of course you may taste our in-house wines. History, Traditions and Wine Culture During this personal tour, you'll gain fascinating insights into the history and traditions of winemaking in the Burggrafenamt region. As the name suggests, this visit is an experience for all the senses, with many interactive stations to explore at the Rochelehof adventure cellar. The musical magic of Advent is accompanied by the Eggental flugelhorn trio and the alphorn players from Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente, whose sounds create a unique, festive atmosphere and turn the setting into an unforgettable experience. The Schützenkompanie Welschnofen | Nova Levante will provide warming drinks and delicious snacks from the bread oven. A special highlight for children: marshmallow roasting at the fire bowl – a fun activity for the whole family that will light up children’s eyes!

On December 14th, the DUO "All Eyes On" with Camilla Guerini & Christian Kröss will transform the Christmas market into a special atmosphere. Their music thrives on contrast, comprising original compositions and selected cover songs. Ranging from Soft-Rock to groovy Southern Country, their music offers a diverse experience. Harmonious two-voice singing lines and the interplay of both guitars often take center stage in their songs.
