    The climbing hall was completed in 1993-94, in 2004 rebuilt and 2007 upgraded. On 300m² climbing area, everyone can find a proper tour. 
    In 2017, the climbing hall was once again expanded and enlarged - with a height of around 16 metres, two self-securing systems and a total of over 100 routes, we invite you to put your skills to the test all year round. We offer climbing in daylight through our large glass facade in the entire climbing area.
    Bouldering enthusiasts will also get their money's worth with our varied routes of all levels of difficulty.

    Bouldering is a fascinating and very social form of climbing. You don't need any ropes or safety equipment, boulderer's climb on low artificial walls and are protected by the thick mat floor. With a little basic knowledge and climbing shoes nothing stands in the way of fun and rapid results!

    Embedded in a beautiful and peaceful alpine landscape, the Stohlwond in the back Ratschingstal/Val Racines offers routes in the lower to middle difficulty range.

    Access: From the car park go over the stream and follow the forest road out of the valley.After about 5 minutes you reach a fork, here you turn left and shortly thereafter takes a path that leads through the forest. This path leads to the foot of the wall in about 10 minutes.

    Important: On Mondays, the area around the climbing wall is reserved for the hunters, as they complete shooting exercises there. Therefore climbing is not allowed on this day!

    It was built in 1997 and is used regularly from the AVS.

    The 18.5 meter high, completely renovated climbing hall is visible from afar - a real eye-catcher. 33 lines divided between the upper floor (12 meters high) and the first floor (up to 22 climbing meters) allow an average of 85 routes to be offered. The new structure includes a beginner's area with toprope ropes and is therefore perfectly suited for courses. Two "Perfekt Descent" self-belay devices complete the modern concept of the climbing hall. There are also relax zones and a café-bristro where you can recover from any climbing exertion.     The Dolomite Arena is part of the Sport Sesto sports complex, which also includes two indoor and two outdoor tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool, a volleyball court and an 18-hole minigolf course, open from June to October. In winter the offer is completed by ice skating.

    Since its opening in 2008, the Rockarena climbing hall in Merano completes the offer of Meranarena. Located to the north of the ice rink, this bouldering facility offers another sports location dedicated to one of the most popular sports of recent years. Indeed, climbing and bouldering are now popular activities, not only in South Tyrol. This is because they are fun, but they are also an excellent workout for physical coordination. And furthermore, they can be practised without any particular experience by people of all ages.

    The mountain peak “Sarner Scharte” (2,468 meters above sea-level) rises directly above the Sarnthein/ Sarentino Village. Starting-point: The farm Hallerhof parking lot or the farm Riedlerhof. Then proceed along the meadows lined by larches and through the forest. After approx. 30 minutes, you'll come to the crossing at the edge of the forest. Do not proceed along the usual way. Instead, continue straight ahead through a small meadow until you come to the start of a narrow footpath that ascends steeply through thick spruces until you come to under the walls of the mountain peak “Sarner Scharte”. At the end, you'll come to a field of boulders which you should cross by making a sharp right turn until you come to the watering place. From the watering place, you can reach all of the entry-points.

    If the weather does not allow for outdoor climbing or if you want to stay fit during the winter months, the artificial climbing walls are a welcome change.

    A new reference point for the alpine city of Bolzano. Vertical movement is in Salewa's as well as Bolzano's DNA: this brand new structure is a venue for professional climbers, but also for anyone approaching this sport for the first time. The climing hall is Italy's largest and has a unique, original feature, i.e. it gives the sensation of being outdoors, due to its particular climatic condition, but with the advantage of being protected from bad weather. A world of climbing located in the city, easy to reach from the environs and open all year round. The available surface area is 2000 square meters with 180 different routes, ranging in difficulty level from 4 to 8, and even has fast routes up to 15 metres high. All necessary equipment can be rented on the spot so you can decide to jump into this adventure at the last minute even without planning ahead.
