Concert of sacral and classical music with the string ensemble from Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto conducted by Guido Freschi. The string ensemble is a musical group made up of established concert performers. The varying number of members, led by first violinist Guido Freschi, in the dual role of soloist and conductor, allows for a wide-ranging exploration of contemporary musical literature. The musician will perform a series of musical performances during the Merano Christmas Market. Along the Passer Promenade, he will contribute to creating an attractive musical atmosphere.

Once again this year the traditional Christmas concert will take place with various local choirs and bands in the church of Sexten.

Exploring the snowy winter landscape in a group and discovering new hiking spots? Guided winter hikes in Merano 2000 will be held on selected dates from 22nd of December 2024. Groups of a maximum of 12 people will be accompanied by an experienced guide.

The wintry natural landscape of the StelvioNational Park is a paradise for snowshoe hikes. The wild, unspoilt Martelltal Valley in particular offers plenty of snow, tranquillity and a unique high-alpine mountain world in winter.
