Berghutten in Zuid-Tirol

The Saltner Hut is open from the beginning of December to Eastern and in summer from Pentecost to the middle of October. We offer a lot of traditional South Tyrol and Italian dishes. The Saltner Hut organise also music events.

The guesthouse near the parking area Prato Piazza is located at an impressive altitude of 2.000 m face to face with the mountain Croda Rossa in the midst of the nature park Fanes-Sennes-Braies. It is possible to stay overnight in theis comfortable double rooms and shared rooms. In theis snuggeries you can enjoy typical south Tyrolean and Italian food the whole year. A sun terrace and a playground invite to stay.

The Puez hut was built in 1889 by the Austro-German section of the Alpenverein. After the First World War it passed to the Bolzano section of the CAI which, in 1940, handed it over to the well-known alpine guide Pietro Costa, an expert ski instructor and passionate hunter. Costa ran the hut until 1989 and then passed the helm to his children Oscar and Gemma. With the passing of the years and the explosion of high-altitude tourism, needs changed. In order to adapt to the times, the CAI decided to build a new, larger and more modern hut next to the old building. Thus it was that on 8th August 1982, in the presence of the then President of the Republic Sandro Pertini, the new Puez Refuge was inaugurated. In 2024 the Puez hut passed into the hands of the next generation and is now managed by Costa Denis, Pietro Costa's grandson. Assisted by his wife and two daughters, Denis carries on his grandfather's legacy with love and passion.

Our mountain hut was built in the year 2000, and you can find us on the red slope of San Cassiano (no. 12). We prepare homemade local dishes, offer gluten-free options, and the traditional "Kaiserschmarrn." We are accessible from the red slope of San Cassiano, the sledding track, as well by foot from San Cassiano in about an hour, starting from the valley station of Piz Sorega. Once a week, we organize a dinner at the hut by reservation, with transport provided by snow cat. On December 31st, we also organize a New Year's Eve dinner, again on reservation. Our team will be pleased to be at your disposal to meet your needs in the best possible way. We are open 7 days a week from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

The Rifugio Genova offers cozy guest rooms and home cooking, as well as accommodation in rustic guest rooms with shared shower or in the hut stock. Group registration required. Opening times: June to October

The Tirler hut in the middle of the Dolomites was awarded in 2009 as the most beautiful hut in South Tyrol. In addition to a varied selection of traditional dishes, the restaurant offers also gluten-free, lactose free and vegetarian food. You can reach us by ski, by toboggan or on a splendid walk. For the mountain bikers we have an e-Bike charging station. We would be delighted to welcome you in the Tirler Hut.

Our mountain hut is located on a sunny hill in the middle of unspoiled nature on the Alpe di Siusi at 2011 m altitude and can be easily reached in summer and winter. Try our different homemade dishes while enjoying the breathtaking panorama of the beautiful mountains of the Dolomites. We wish you unforgettable moments in an enchanting environment. The hut is reachable from Ortisei by the cablecar Alpe di Siusi and then on the footpath nr. 6 in approx. 20 minutes. From Compaccio you can reach the hut in 40 minutes walk.

Dreamlike scenery near Corvara, on the Pralongià slope The Capanna Nera hut is nestled in a dreamlike landscape in the surroundings of Corvara, located on the Pralongià slope and close to the golf course. It can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. In addition to picturesque views of the Dolomites, the Capanna Nera hut offers gastronomic delicacies from local, Italian and international traditions. Our sun terrace invites you to spend relaxing hours in a magical setting.

Welcome to the mountain lodge Plosehütte! At the legendary height of 2447 meters above sea level you can spend a wonderful lodge holiday in South Tyrol. Close to the sun, surrounded by alpine scenery and the beautiful Isarco Valley at your feet – we can accommodate groups, families and outdoor enthusiasts. In every season we are a perfect base from which to set off on fantastic nature adventures. The refuge offers an inviting dining room with bar, which can accommodate up to 120 people. Also a traditional parlour (“Stube”) with 40 seats is available at the lodge. A sunny terrace in summer and winter offers guests the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic views and the delicious food.

The RIFUGIO TONI DEMETZ is located in the heart of the Dolomites, majestically embedded between the peaks of the SASSOLUNGO and the CINQUE DITA (5 Fingers) on the high rocky pass of the FORCELLA DEL SASSOLUNGO. We are here in midst of an ancient coral reef where more than 220 million years ago flowed the Tethys Sea. The RIFUGIO TONI DEMETZ is the ideal starting point for many trekking, hiking and rock climbing routes. Also a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature and the breathtaking and charming scenery of the Dolomites declared as a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site in 2009. In 1954, the mountain guide Giovanni Demetz wanted to build here a refuge, a shelter from wind, rain and snow, a restoring place where you can admire the surrounding landscape from. With great passion and dedication, Enrico Demetz, Giovanni's youngest son, still runs the refuge together with his wife and daughters.

On this easy walk, your guide will reveal a few tricks for transforming the plants you collect into delicious dressings and natural healing products. A sweet-smelling walk! Furthermore, the children need only a few steps to get to the 2 floors games room or to the outdoor playground, located next to the large roof terrace, and with the longest slide across the Alpe di Siusi. On our terrace, with view on our pond, you can relax and enjoy the warmth of the sun while you spend a nice time in company, with a refreshing drink in our bar. The breathtaking panorama of the Alpe di Siusi and the Dolomites in the background also contributes to your happiness.

The Bockerhütte is situated at the heart of the Texelgruppe Nature Park. It is the starting point of various alpine hikes including multi-day hikes with overnight stays in the mountain refuges. On the sun terrace you can enjoy the enchanting natural scenery of the Val di Sopranes. We serve hot food all day and typical Tyrolean dishes as well as home-made cakes and strudel.

Enjoy on our terrace typical regional dishes, prepared with different herbs from our own garden. Our cook set great store by using fresh products from best quality. After an exciting walking-tour a traditional snack with a good wine from South Tyrol expect You. Of course You must also taste our sweets. All our desserts are self-made!

The guests get delicious Tyrolean and Italian food in the snuggery or on the terrace. Overnight stays are possible.

The Para, a cabin in the typical Tyrolean style, is located 1970 m in the charming ski resort Superski Dolomites in Alta Badia, right on the Brancia, main track linking the towns of La Villa, San Cassiano and Corvara, and opposite the ski lift La Para, suitable for children and those who love engage in funny boardercross courses.

The Schgaguler Schwaige mountain hut, lying at 1905m near the mountain station of the Ortisei / Alpe di Siusi cable car, opened in 1991. The hut is easily reached regardless of the season, whether during a bike tour or hike in summer or as part of a ski tour or snowshoe hike in winter. The spacious terrace is perfect for an outdoor lunch and guests can head to the garden to relax and sunbathe in the deckchairs. There is a playground and a small petting zoo nearby, where rabbits, goats, ponies and even lamas look forward to a visit from the children. The rustic interior is in traditional rustic style and includes a Stube perfect for spending time in good company - often for longer than expected, especially in winter! Tasty homemade traditional South Tyrolean dishes are all freshly prepared using the farm’s own products. The Radlseehütte (2284 m) in the Sarntal Alps is located in a beautiful location at the Radlsee east of the Königsangers peak (2436 m).

Local food and grilled snacks from 11 am to 5 pm on the Gardenaccia slope in La Villa. Dinner with local food every Tuesday and Friday (reservation needed).
