Grown gastronomic culture with regional roots are tradition. We use fresh trout, lamb, venison, vegetables, dairy products, wine and others from the farmer and from South Tyrolean production. However, we prepare wood-fired pizzas and international dishes too. The gastronomic specialties week "Eisacktalerkost" delight guests from near and far for more than 43 years on meals with a rich history.

The name Mauriz was already mentioned in 1752 in a sales agreement. At that time, the Mauriz was used as a stable of the inn Morizen “Mauriz”, which belonged to the Sanoner family. Josef Anton Sanoner emigrated to France and came back only at the beginning of 1810. He bought the whole estate and called the inn “Adler”. In 1903 Johann Babtist Sanoner enlarged the inn and added walls to the wooden building. In the stable, which had beautiful cross vaults, there were many horses, which were used by the guests for riding tours and for coach tours. In 1985 a part of the wooden scaffolding of the interior construction and the old cross vaults, under which you are sitting now, were saved from demolition. The old wood was used for the interior decoration of the disco “Mauriz”. We have rented the building in 2003 and, with a lot of effort and particular attention to detail, have turned it into the restaurant and pizzeria Maurizkeller. We hope you are enjoying your stay with us.

This café is located in the historic village centre of Caldaro and linked to the Hotel Zum Turm. Here you have the chance to taste excellent cakes, coffee as well as ice cream-cups and fresh drinks. The best South Tyrolean dishes! The Restaurant-Pizzeria Babsi in Soprabolzano has been for about 27 years an important meeting place for both locals and visitors. Traditional South Tyrolean dishes such as ravioli with spinach and ricotta cheese, dumplings and traditional meat dishes are prepared after the secret and closely guarded cookbook from granny’s days. We recommend a glass of fine wine or a draught beer. In the afternoon we serve delicious home-made cakes with coffee, cappuccino, tea or freshly squeezed fruit juices in our traditional dining room and on the sunny terrace. From 5.00 pm, you can also enjoy different Italian pizzas and small, home-made specialties. Have fun and spend time together every night, when junior chef Philip prepares fresh cocktails and drinks for its guests at the bar.

Home-styling cooking with a traditional cuisine. We serve our home-made cakes and a delicious Pizza made on the wood stove. Parking lanes are directly at the house and there is also available a sunny terrace and a childrens´play ground.

E-Quattro is a small, family-run pizza laboratory. The special flours we use have different milling methods and therefore our pizza is light and easily digestible. We are very careful in the choice of our ingredients. Genuine eating is our effort, try us!
