For us bakers it is vital to ensure that traditional recipes and bread varieties are preserved and handed down. We make typical South Tyrolean bread and sweet baked goods, using ancient recipes with a modern twist, as well as creating our own new products. All these items are made fresh every day, using natural sourdough and local ingredients, and with a guarantee of a hundred percent quality.

In times of machines and finished products - where can you still find a bakery in South Tyrol with deep roots that still relies on real craftsmanship and tradition, that kneads, shapes and bakes where the air is still clean and the mountain water is pure?

Since 1954, our family and employees at the Trenker Bakery have been doing what they do best: baking! At an altitude of 1,240 m, in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Dolomites, we produce fresh South Tyrolean bread and fine pastries for you every day.

Every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday we bake organic bread made of locally grown wheat, spelt and rye in our wood-fired oven.

On our shelves you will find the known rye bread “Puschtra Breatl” with fenugreek, our famous and excellent house bread as well as sweet breads, biscuits and crackers.

Seasonal organic vegetables and fruits, selected wines, liqueurs, beer and other organic or Demeter products complete the range.

Every day we bake bread rolls, baguette, oil bread, ciabattina,... Six days a week we will surprise you with a special assortment.

Specialities of the Val Pusteria have been produced for 50 years at the butcher's Nocker in Dobbiaco. They have remained faithful to their company philosophy for decades. Only the best is good enough for their customers.

The old tradition of producing sausage and bacon and specialities is cultivated carefully and in the highest perfection.  Despite innovative technology, manual skills are furthermore most essential, as quality and taste are the guarantee for the popularity of the offered products. Many of them are still produced according to old traditional recipes.

The pharmacy Alta Pusteria/Hochpustertal at San Candido/Innichen is one of the oldest pharmacies (known as Stapf Pharmacy until the second world war) from Lienz to Bressanone/Brixen.

Fresh and best ingredients are our top priority. "Purity Law" for bread: For our breads we only use water, flour, yeast and salt. In addition come grains and spices, all natural additives. In our white bread you can find only vegetarian vegetable oil! Baking mixes are taboo, the sourdough is of course set itself.

ANTICHITA' SACCO GIOVANNINO SINCE 1958

Antichità Sacco Giovannino was founded in 1958 by my parents. My father Giovannino with a small truck went around in the Tyrol valleys to collect the beautiful painted furniture.
To supply his small shop located in the family house where my mother Ave dealt with the selling. At the first time the customers were antique dealers, architects and designers, but as the voice spread in the nearby Cortina where the most important italian and international names of the industry and show business were building their wonderful villas.
So many of them went to my parents to buy furniture. These people of good taste and good culture motivated my father to find most important pieces of arts, paintings, sculptures, silvers, important furniture. 

Now our company is managed with seriousness from me and my mother.

In the past there were only two types of bread: the typical "Breatl" (rye bread made from sourdough) and the "Struze" (white bread). Today the Happacher bakery delights its customers with a large selection of bread and desserts, which can be enjoyed together with a delicious cappuccino in the small café. And pssst... also the best "Schittlbreatl" is available in the traditional bakery since 1955.

Everything you need - everything else not far away Villabassa is a tranquil village with attractive shops: Grocers, bakery, butcher, newsagent and tobacconist, pharmacy, sports shop and fashion boutiques offer an interesting range. In Heinfels (Austria), exquisite specialities are created every day: Just like in 1925, in Alfons Loacker's small patisserie, wafers are baked and refined with all sorts of delicious ingredients. Loacker reveals its well-kept secrets and invites gourmets to a truly unique experience. Wafer enthusiasts will become bakers and are allowed to let their imagination run riot. With instruction from experts, you can independently create your individual Loacker wafer speciality to your personal taste.  You can randomly combine Loacker's cream fillings, spread them on freshly baked wafers, portion them and take them home in a specially prepared packaging. 

From our own pastry we offer homemade cakes, pies and other sweet treats.
