With the longest bar counter in town, indirect lighting, and modern flair, the bar especially creates a unique atmosphere in the evening. The Kanzel Hut is located at an altitude of 2,350 m, right next to the mountain station of the Kanzel cable car. This excellent location makes it a popular destination for hikers and mountain lovers. The Kanzel restaurant offers a diverse menu that ranges from classic dishes to delicious pasta variations and fresh salads. Particularly famous is the renowned Kaiserschmarrn, served here to perfection and a true delight for every palate. The bright, modern bar furnished with wood invites guests to linger and offers breathtaking views of Sulden and the impressive mountain world surrounding King Ortler. Here, you can unwind after an adventurous hike and fully enjoy the beauty of nature. The Kanzel Hut is easily accessible via hiking trails No. 5, 11, and 12. Alternatively, you can also conveniently reach the hut by the Kanzel or Rosim (open only in winter) cable car.

A smugglers‘ farm turned into a gourmet farm. On the spot where, in times gone by, dealers carted their illicit wares back and forth between Italy and Austria, the farm’s guests can now enjoy delicacies prepared according to secret recipes. 300-year-old Tendershof farm is situated at a height of 1,160 metres above sea level amidst breathtaking scenery. The Austro-Italian border runs through the farmland. This is not only a great place to be for the farm’s resident highland cattle, but Farm Holiday guests are welcome, too. Kuppelrain is framed by trees and shrubs, you will find us directly at the small cozy station of Castelbello which has been modernized lately. Our proven team is still from Chef Jörg Trafoier and sommelier Sonya. Since the spring of 2013, is son Kevin Trafoier in the kitchen next to the stove and Jörg has his own style complements the creative dishes of our house and further developed. Our bistro is located directly on the main street in the beautiful building of the Mals farm shop. The principles of natural, local, high-quality and tasty food, produced under fair conditions, apply. As a social cooperative, we reintegrate disadvantaged people into working life. We are pleased to offer daily changing daily specials and a small fine dining menu. All dishes are homemade - dumplings and dumplings, our seasonal salad buffet. Almost exclusively regional and organic ingredients are used. We strive to be able to offer our customers the valuable products from local agriculture.

The K2 Hut is located at an altitude of 2,350 m, directly at the mountain station of the Langenstein chairlift. This location offers not only breathtaking views but also the opportunity to fully enjoy the fresh mountain air. The terrace of the mountain restaurant, which stands out for its unique archi-tectural design, invites you to bask in the sun in a relaxed atmosphere – with a direct view of the impressive Ortler. The menu at the K2 Hut is diverse: daily specials, juicy steaks, and delicious fish specialties are served, delighting both gourmets and hikers. A special highlight is the homemade apple strudel, which should never be missed during a visit. The K2 Hut is accessible via hiking trails 3 and 4. Alternatively, you can also conveniently reach the hut by the Langenstein chairlift.

The Kälberalm, located at an impressive altitude of 2,248 meters, is a true gem in the picturesque landscape of Sulden. From here, breathtaking views of the majestic trio Ortler, Zebru, and Königspitze unfold, with their imposing peaks reaching towards the sky, creating an extraordinary backdrop for hikers and nature enthusiasts. The Kälberalm is easily accessible via hiking trails No. 18 and 19, which meander through a diverse alpine landscape. The well-marked routes are suitable for both experienced hikers and families, inviting everyone to fully enjoy the unspoiled nature. Whether taking a break at the pasture or during the ascent, the view of the surrounding mountains is simply spectacular, making a visit to the Kälberalm an unforgettable experience.

It has long been clear to researchers how important it is to keep that little glimmer of magic from our childhood days alive. That's why we, the Gerstl family, are all the more delighted to present DAS GERSTL Family Retreat as the first family hotel directly on Lake Reschen following intensive planning. Our mission? In keeping with our r30 philosophy, for instance, we endeavour to source most of the raw materials we need for hotel operations from within a 30 km radius. The original Vinschgau bread is sourced from the local baker, the Wagyu beef from our own breeding programme and even our r30 cosmetics line, waiting for you in the Venosta Spa as well as in your suite, is derived from the natural treasures of the surrounding area. Guests wishing to do their bit can, for example, opt out of unnecessary towel changes or room cleaning and help to conserve resources. LET’S CREATE MOMENTS AS A FAMILY Sometimes together, sometimes each to their own, but always among like-minded people - that's how the world and its marvels can be (re)discovered with all the senses. Children and toddlers climb together with Gersti the snow bunny and his friends, romp around, do crafts and learn more about nature and the environment - not to mention about themselves and their own adventurous courage - in a playful manner. And what about mum, dad and the older kids? The same goes, of course. Even adults can become adventurers and explorers once again on hiking trails, bike trails and slopes, barely a stone's throw from the hotel, or while sailing and kiting on Lake Reschen. And for those who already find life adventurous enough, there are homely cosy corners and the famous Gerstl atmosphere where you can simply let go. The Angergut farm is located in Castelbello. Its grape growing areas are spread out along the sunny slope of the Val Venosta between Castelbello and Sluderno and range up to 900 meters (3,000 feet) above sea level. They are thus among the highest situated vineyards in all of Alto Adige. Within that context, although the elevation is in fact a prominent feature, it is by far not the only one that distinguishes the estate winery in the Val Venosta. “Our vineyards are typical for the Val Venosta: sunny, dry, and windy,” explains winegrower Tobias Mitterer.

The interplay of sun, location, soils, and wind form the natural foundation for outstanding wines. But with sustainable and gentle management that is close to nature, the Mitterer family does their part for their well-organized, practical, and carefully arranged vineyards. In that way, classic Alto Adige wines – first and foremost the reds Schiava and Pinot Noir primarily in the higher situated vineyards, but also Zweigelt, and then also the white wines such as Kerner and Riesling – are made in the old family tradition and served up in their own farmhouse inn. And in addition to the wine, it goes without saying that other products from their own farm also show up on the table there.

The Angergut is therefore far more than “just“ an estate winery. It is a classic Alto Adige mountain farm, a farmhouse inn that is popularly frequented, but first and foremost a deeply rooted family operation.

That's us, Melanie and Josef with Philipp and Tobias, the new tenants of the "Stierbergalm". We are a young, motivated family and together we want to bring new impetus to the "Stierbergalm" this year. We very much hope that we will be able to satisfy both our guests and our many four-legged roommates on the alpine hut.

The Höfer Alm Alpine hut is a popular destination in summer as well as in winter. On the sun terrace you can enjoy a magnificent view of the mountains of the Ötztal Alps and the Ortler Group. The Höfer Alm spoils guests with homemade food and serves South Tyrolean fare and daily specials on its small menu. Hikers will certainly get their money's worth here. Without much effort, the hut at 2,066 metres altitude is easily accessible from the Watles valley station.

We spoil our guests in the heavenly restaurant with healthy and fresh cuisine in cozy rooms or in promising panoramic dining room. Enjoyable hours promises a unique gazebo on our stylish terrace Vinschgauer Sonnenberg. We seduce in the spring with fresh wild garlic dishes, as well as with the unique Biospargel from Kastelbell. It offers in summer salads, fresh strawberries and raspberries and sweet delights, such as the Passo apricot dumplings with Zimtbrösel. Autumn time - Treatment time hearty Törggele dishes and of course the popular poachers time! Our wine list offers exquisite white and red wines from renowned wineries, as well as fresh wine from Passo winemakers. Homemade juices from elderflower, strawberry, lemon balm are home-made.
