Many hours of sunshine, happy moments and unforgettable holidays: all this is promised during your stay at Active Hotel Sonne in Gais, Alto Adige. The period building with white façade, sophisticated décor and a large sundial has offered a warm welcome to guests since 1589. At that time, ''Osterie Wanger" was a popular meeting place for young and old alike, local folk and visitors from far and wide.

At the Jochele Hotel & Restaurant, hotel guests and locals, fans of speck platters and gourmets all feast together side by side and completely at ease. A culinary day at the Jochele has plenty to offer! The bustle of hard work starts in the hotel kitchen when the cock first crows in the morning. Chef Horst and his team treat fans of South Tyrolean cuisine to typical specialities and international creations. At lunchtime and dinner time, the menu includes a tempting selection of favourite South Tyrolean dishes: home made Schlutzkrapfen, cheese and bacon dumplings with coleslaw, aromatic herb dumplings and Kaiserschmarrn pancakes. If you can’t find something to tickle your taste buds here, then you can’t be looking properly!

The guesthouse near the parking area Prato Piazza is located at an impressive altitude of 2.000 m face to face with the mountain Croda Rossa in the midst of the nature park Fanes-Sennes-Braies. It is possible to stay overnight in theis comfortable double rooms and shared rooms. In theis snuggeries you can enjoy typical south Tyrolean and Italian food the whole year. A sun terrace and a playground invite to stay.

Only regional products with a focus on organic growth are used for the preparation of our dishes. Many vegetables and salads and all herbs come from our Langge farm.

Our chef of the house will spoil you personally with a variety of delicacies. In the morning we served you a rich breakfast buffet with various South Tyrol special features, homemade jams and cakes , breads, a variety of different yoghurt and cereals and an organic corner with products from strictly controlled cultivation. At lunch time we serve you in our restaurant “Tesselberger Stuben" a variety of international dishes or you can satisfy the hunger in the afternoon with a hearty snack, with different cakes and ice creams. As part of the half board in the evening you can choose between a 3-4 course menu of international dishes, as well as a fresh salad and appetizer buffet. There waiting for you special evenings such as Gala Dinner, South Tirol evening (in autumn). On request, we serve vegetarian food, dishes without Lactose or without gluten. Bon appetit!

Wir bewirten Sie gerne auf unserer großen Panoramaterasse sowie im Garten mit Liegewiese. Es finden im Sommer verschiedene Veranstaltungen statt wie das Brotbacken im urigem Steinbackofen, wo Sie miterleben können wie das Brot entsteht und natürlich gibt es auch Brot zum mit nach Hause nehmen. Zu Mittag gibt es Grillfeiern sowie Fondue auf Vorbestellung.

n the meantime, we have a large vegetable field and a herb garden, which is Julius' passion. Since he also likes to be creative in the kitchen, he has now found his place on the farm. The traditional parlour and kitchen have stood unoccupied for long enough, now something new begins. He processes everything from the field, the garden, the cheese cellar and our animals into delicious local and creative dishes. We as a family actively support him in this. Natural flavours, fresh produce, unique raw milk cheese, bacon and Kaminwurzen and meat from farm animals are our food - in other words, means to live. The unique surroundings, the unique location of the Lechnerhof and the good food make for an unforgettable experience. Enjoying ice-cream is a top priority for over 35 years with us. In the summer of 2014, we have put our ice production in a whole new packaging to offer a much wider product range. In "Mannis Café & Ice Cream Parlor" there is anything that really brings the enjoyment at full speed - ice cream, ice cream sticks, apple strudel, pies and cakes. And every single product is of course home made. The team in Mannis Cafè & Ice Cream Shop is pleased to make the hot days a little more comfortable with pleasurable cooling.

The Lercheralm is a hut in Oberwielenbach and a popular excursion destination - also with baby carriage and Mountainbike.

We enchant you with regional and seasonal cuisine. Two large new rooms – a pine room and a farmhouse room from the year 1878 – are well-suited for family celebrations (first communions, confirmations), office parties, Törggelen evenings, and romantic candlelight dinners with your sweetheart.

Emma's Bistro is located directly near the Hotel Pragser Wildsee lake. On the near terrace you can enjoy delicious dishes and look at the famous lake Pragser Wildsee.

The newly constructed hut amidst the impressive Dolomites on 2.164 m, offers a beautiful sun terrace and a Tyrolean snuggery where you can enjoy delicious South Tyrolean food. You can reach the family managed hut from Ponticello over the hiking trail no. 4 (time required: ca. 2 1/2 hours), from Prato Piazza over the hiking trail no. 3 (time required: ca. 3-4 hours) or from the lake of Braies over the hiking trail no. 4 (time required: ca. 3 hours). In the winter time the Rossalm hut is open from the beginning of februray till the end of march!

The mountain pasture and its rustic hut are situated at an altitude of 1.980 m. The hut offers homemade South Tyrolean delicacies and is known for the staff's hospitality. You reach the hut from Ponticello over the hiking trail n. 18 (time required: ca. 2 hours) or after a short hike from Prato Piazza. In the winter time the Stolla Alm hut is closed!
