The festivity in the alpine huts Prato Piazza, Rossalm, Stollaalm, Kaseralm e Grünwaldalm combines typical Tyrolean sounds with delicious food. Identity. Music from various directions Identity affects us all. It polarises and excites, it is instrumentalised politically and in the media. Identity challenges us to define ourselves, to stand out or to integrate into a group as an 'us', especially in times of permanent upheaval and rapidly changing events. News about world events spreads globally in seconds and affects us. At the same time, things that are slowly brewing in our society burst forth with force and unsettling energy and affect us all. Climate, wars and crises: cracks, splits and gaps are appearing everywhere, leaving us with big question marks both individually and socially. Those who turn constructive questions about identification, individuality and shared values into the opposite, and turn them into a divisive 'us versus them', are particularly emphasised. Art and culture, on the other hand, give us the opportunity to experience, listen to, savour and celebrate 'our' cultural life - preferably in silence and away from the polarising and constant sound of the media - in the full knowledge that culture and, in particular, music of all genres and colours make us, in the course of our lives, identify with them. An open perception of one's identity as an ever-changing mosaic of traditions, experiences, memories and relationships is one of the most important prerequisites for successful coexistence. Understood in this way, the search for our (individual) identity offers us the opportunity to meet the Other and Others on an equal footing. It is the most important key to tolerance, cosmopolitanism, true diversity and coexistence. All the more reason to put identity at the centre of this Festival and to celebrate origin, artistic diversity and variety, and cultural exchange in this way. Sergio Sini was born in 1924 in Treviso where, from a very young age, he approached painting in order to express his love for nature, a companion in his stylistic pursuits. In this review are a selection of works ralized during his stays in Val Pusteria, and in particular in Villabassa.

Philipp and Stefan Santifaller, an up-and-coming photographer duo from Brixen, present a selection of their photographs with spectacular impressions from Iceland and New Zealand as well as a single piece from their series ‘The Glacier's End’. While the two countries are practically diametrically opposed on the globe, the photographers have also found counterpoints in their images that lend the exhibition as a whole an exciting dynamic.

The exhibition this year at the Rudolf Stolz Musem at Sexten is called: "Tasting. Pictures and stories about food".

The museum is located in the Hotel Mondschein / Luna in the center of Sesto. It has been realised by Mr. Stabinger with a lot of love for detail.

The walk leads along the forest path at the Haunold/Baranci valley station in direction of Toblach/Dobbiaco to the source of the Drau/Drava river. Start from the Bike Academy Sextner Dolomiten in the direction of Sexten, then slightly uphill to Mitterberg and on to Nemes Alm. After about 20 minutes we reach a plateau called "Saumad" (1.750 ) where we turn left to the Klammbach-Alm (1.940). Also here we are challenged again to enjoy after approx. 30 minutes at the Almhütte the dreamlike view of the Three Peaks. Arrived at the Klammbach hut, we take a break and enjoy the "Schmankerln" by Hannes, then when Leon briefly unpacks his accordion then the mood is perfect. Passing the "Hennstoll" and via the Sesto circular trail we return to Sesto to the Bike Academy Sesto Dolomites.

Enter the via ferrata at the first rays of sunlight. Up to the summit cross, everyone can enjoy the quiet dawn in the Dolomites for themselves. A real experience: Sunrise at the top of Monte Elmo! Discover how the sun arises from behind the mountains and illuminates the landscape. From the summit of Monte Elmo you can enjoy this experience of nature with 360° panoramic views of the Dolomites and the Central Alps.

We start with the public bus to Vierschach/Versciaco and go with the cable car to the Helm/Monte Elmo (2.050 m). Here the hike begins via the Hüttensteig path nr. 20 to the Rif. Sillianer Hütte hut. After a refreshment (hut or self-catering), the way back is via the old Helmhaus at 2.434 m. With a 360° view between the Italian-Austrian border, we learn a lot about the exciting history of this area. Descent via hiking trail nr. 4a and the Rif. And after your fatigue you will share a well-deserved break in one of the many mountain huts and alpine pastures along the routes! Our adventure todays takes us to: Prato Piazza Along the route of the old 'Dolomite Railway' (closed for many years) on a wide, slightly uphill dirt road we cross the fairytale-like Landro Valley. After passing Lake Toblach and the war cemetery, after a short time we can enjoy the wonderful view of the famous Three Peaks of Lavaredo. Shortly after the enchanting Lake Landro we ascend along an old military road to Prato Piazza. After about six kilometres and just 500 metres of altitude difference, we find ourselves on the extensive plateau in the middle of the Braies Dolomites. After refreshments in a cosy hut, we have two options for descending towards Braies: either along a fast track or along the asphalted road. Having reached the bottom of the valley, we effortlessly return to our starting point in Toblach. Many areas of the Dolomites are in the process of setting up projects to enhance the historical testimony of the Great War. Sesto di Pusteria was both victim and protagonist of this tragedy. Sesto di Pusteria is the only place of Germanic language and culture belonging to the Austro-Hungarian Empire to find itself at the front line, undergoing forced evacuation and displacement, and then, together with other places of the South Tyrol, being annexed to Italy. This chance set of events makes Sesto an emblematic place to tell the history of this period, not only for the Tyrolean citizens of today but for all the inhabitants of Europe. The vicissitudes of the civilian population and of the soldiers during this extremely important moment in history have so far surprisingly been neglected, undoubtedly because of the upheaval following the end of the war and annexation to Italy. Given the considerable interest in the First World War that is now emerging in Europe, Sesto has unique and inestimable contribution to make. The Associazione Bellum Aquilarum (Bellum Aquilarum historical association) aims to save from oblivion the surviving testimony to this tragedy in order to preserve it so that it can be handed down to future generations, not only to the young people of Pusteria, but also to those living in places once belonging to the former Austro-Hungarian Empire that were the scenes of battle here. The tragedy experienced so deeply at Sesto and in Pusteria is askin to that of many other areas of Europe which were on the front line or which, after the war, witnessed the havoc brougth on by territorial annexation. The ensuing cultural, historical and political schism was immense; without doubt, these events changed Pusteria but also Europe itself, and today - in a European perspective enabling the age-old tensions issuing from the war to be overcome - preserving these memories can aid us in the construction of our common future.
