The magical Sterntaler Christmas Market enchants visitors during the weekends of the Advent season in the town center of Lana with its warm and charming atmosphere. Lovingly decorated stands offer genuine South Tyrolean crafts, along with Christmas specials in the local shops and many other seasonal experiences. Strolling and shopping at the Christmas Market in Lana is particularly cozy and stress-free. During the four Advent weekends, more than 20 stalls offer genuine South Tyrolean artisanal crafts created with passion as unique Christmas gifts. At the culinary stands, visitors will find delicious specialties for every taste: traditional mulled wine, fruity hot apple drinks and soups to warm you up, farmer's bread, stuffed pretzels and Christmas hamburgers are only part of the culinary variety on offer. Atmospheric live music by local bands frames the holiday spirit and hustle and bustle of the market, and young visitors can have fun with pony rides, handicraft workshops and Punch and Judy shows. On 5 and 31 December 2024, only the gastronomic stands are open.

The diverse offerings will be rounded off with musical performances, a show kitchen on Saturday evening, the large gingerbread house from the Tauber bakery, a children's program, and of course, the ever-popular ice skating rink. The Merano Christmas Market provides a magical atmosphere, with daily concerts, children’s entertainment, local customs and handicrafts. There are other Christmas markets in Merano and Environs too, offering textiles, jewelry, ceramics, glass and wooden objects. Closed on 25th December.

Naturno has made a name for itself as a market town in recent years; The "Katharinamarkt" is one of the three annual markets where up to 55 stallholders offer their goods.

Experience the enchanting Farmers’ Advent at Hasenegg, located at 999 meters above sea level, on the weekends of November 30th - December 1st and December 7th - 8th, from 11 AM to 6 PM. Numerous exhibitors will showcase and sell their lovingly handcrafted products, and your palate will be delighted with delicious farm specialties and warm beverages at the gourmet stand. The rural Christmas Market in Partschins is a very unique and picturesque one, taking place in the authentic ambience of the historic church square. In rustic stands you can find precious regional products as well as gastronomic specialties.

Every Tuesday we meet us in the farm of the Schildhof Obergereuth. Together we prepare South Tyrolean bread with spices and wheat from our farm. While the dough is rising and resting, we visit the wheat field and our mill from 1831. The bread and three recipes are taken home. While the bread is baking in the oven, we dedicate ourselves to lunch: a generous and varied platter of cheeses from the organic cheese dairies Aignerhof and Schupferhof, various types of bread from our farm and our medlar jelly. The Original Tiroler Kaiserjägermusik is one of the most traditional and best brass bands in Tyrol. The gala concert in Merano offers wonderful melodies. The origins of the Kaiserjägermusik go back to the field musicians from 1741. The band was allowed to bear the name ‘Kaiserjägermusik’ from 16 January 1816, after a decree was issued by Emperor Franz I to this effect. The subsequent history of the Kaiserjägermusik was very chequered. It was dissolved and re-founded several times. On 25 April 1895, the former Tyrolean ‘Kaiser’ Jäger Regiment was transformed into four Tyrolean Kaiserjäger regiments, each of which was given a band. With the demise of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, the bands of the Kaiserjäger regiments also fell silent. In 1972, the Original Tiroler Kaiserjägermusik was re-established by former military bandmaster Obstlt. Prof. Siegfried Somma. The Original Tiroler Kaiserjägermusik has been considered the musical ambassador of Tyrol for decades and contributes a great deal to the preservation of the military-historical tradition in Austria. In the 40 years of its existence, the Naturno St. Nicholas Festival has developed into an event that is unique throughout South Tyrol and enjoys great popularity every year. The traditional St. Nicholas procession starts at 5 p.m. at the Hotel Jager Hans. From there to the village square, there is an opportunity to meet St. Nicholas and take a souvenir photo. At the village square, St. Nicholas and his angels distribute the St. Nicholas sacks and St. Nicholas carols are sung. During the procession, food parcels are collected for children in Moldova and Ukraine. Cosy get-together in the village square with various dishes and hot drinks.

Every Friday, Elisabeth, the farmer's wife from Schildhof Obergereuth, rolls dumplings! The boss of the Hofkaffee invites you to a dumpling cooking course and reveals tips and tricks to ensure that the classic South Tyrolean holiday dish is a success. Symphonic Winds, this very special wind orchestra consisting of around 50 musicians Symphonic Winds, which consists of around 50 musicians, has enjoyed well over 65,000 concerts. This year, the Symphonic Winds wind orchestra, under the artistic direction of Alexander Veit, will perform together with the German trumpet soloist Christoph Moschberger in Dobbiaco (Gustav Mahler Hall of the Euregio Cultural Centre in Dobbiaco), Bolzano (Konzerthaus) and Merano (Kursaal). Manfred Sinn, Sabino Monterisi, Daniel Vieider and Ivan Marini (saxophone quartet) will also perform as soloists alongside Symphonic Winds. Christoph Moschberger is a great example of great versatility. His artistic versatility makes him one of the most fascinating trumpet soloists of his generation. On December, 21/22 and 26 he will be in South Tyrol. During his studies in Cologne he played in almost all German radio big bands. Christoph Moschberger has worked with many international jazz and has performed on stage or in front of the television camera. The list of his references seems almost endless. In 2019, his first solo album "Home" was released in collaboration with the Austrian brass band "Da Blechhaufn". 2024 is the release date for his second solo album, which he recorded with the WDR Funkhausorchester Köln. In addition to regular appearances as a soloist, Christoph Moschberger is also a permanent ensemble member of "Federspiel". Discover this stunning winter terrain on an organised snowshoe hike with guide. After reaching Videgg by bus from Schenna/Scena, our hike starts along the forest road, through the snow-covered forest looking out on a majestic mountain panorama to the Videgger Asse pastures and back. This winter hike maximises the experience of this pristine terrain, our snowshoes enabling us to move across the snow with little effort. The total elevation gain is approximately 400 m, and the hike lasts about 3 hours. For lunch we stop at a cosy mountain inn in Videgg to enjoy a taste of the sumptuous local fare. After this well-deserved break we make our way back to Schenna in the early afternoon. Throughout our snowshoe hike, we are accompanied by experienced mountain guide, Elisabeth Unterthurner.
