Hotel description

The Holzerhof has been owned by the "Hofer" family for over 200 years. We have been a certified organic farm with suckler cow husbandry since 2006. Appropriate animal husbandry and feeding, as well as sustainable handling of nature are essential components of our agriculture. We master the work on the farm together as a family. Young and old, everybody is involved in our field and stable work, from the care of the forest to the preparation of our farm crops.

About the region

In the Dolomites Region Kronplatz changes with the seasons, but never loses its unique charm. In summer, you can explore on foot or by bike; in winter, on skis or snowshoes. The landscape is open and easily recognisable, even though the light and colours change. But there is more to discover than just nature: the museums on the mountain tops tell powerful stories tied to Alpine culture. And if you listen closely, you can also hear Ladin spoken: a sign of a land that keeps its roots alive.
