Our establishment, 2 km/1.2 mi from the town center in Bruneck, in the historical village center of Aufhofen, is particularly suitable for a starting point for many wonderful hikes in Puster Valley and its side valleys. The close proximity to Bruneck and to the Kronplatz ski area enable you to utilize the numerous cultural, sports, and entertaining offers in the summer as well as in the winter. We will do our utmost to ensure that your stay here is as pleasant as possible.

About the region

In the Dolomites Region Kronplatz changes with the seasons, but never loses its unique charm. In summer, you can explore on foot or by bike; in winter, on skis or snowshoes. The landscape is open and easily recognisable, even though the light and colours change. But there is more to discover than just nature: the museums on the mountain tops tell powerful stories tied to Alpine culture. And if you listen closely, you can also hear Ladin spoken: a sign of a land that keeps its roots alive.
