Intermediate-level guided e-bike tour starting from the Colfosco Ski school, descending towards La Villa along the river, and then continuing along the river, from La Villa up to Armentarola. The return journey follows the same route. The route, ideal even in winter thanks to the bikes' electric assistance, equipped with studded tires, offers breathtaking views of the snow-capped Dolomites, where you can escape from everyday life and admire a fairytale landscape. After a brief stop at the Cross-country skiing centre Alta Badia bar to enjoy a hot chocolate with friends, the tour returns to Colfosco. The route is suitable for cyclists with some experience and good cycling skills, with moderate climbs and fun descents, all surrounded by the charm of winter nature.

Mulled wine is Christmas in the glass. Especially at Christmas time, when the spicy taste of the mulled wine warms hands, body and heart and lets you enjoy the festive atmosphere even more.

As you stroll through the small wooden huts, glowing with warm lights and festively decorated, you’ll be enveloped by an inviting atmosphere. The scent of hot mulled wine and delicious treats invites you to pause and enjoy the magic of the holiday season. Each hut offers unique handmade treasures that showcase the craftsmanship of local artisans.

A highlight of the market is the impressive life-sized nativity scene, lovingly carved by the sculptor Leo Moroder. Every year, new figures are added, making this artwork a vibrant symbol of the most beautiful Christmas traditions.

And when live music fills the air between the snow-covered huts, the market becomes even more enchanting. On certain evenings, concerts create a truly special festive atmosphere.

Last year, for every cup of mulled wine sold, €1.00 was donated to Aiüt Alpin Dolomites, raising a total of €3,000 in support of the valuable work of the mountain rescue team.
This year, the initiative continues, with a part of the proceeds being donated to another local association, sharing the magic of Christmas through solidarity.

An event that opens the culinary winter season in Alta Badia: an itinerant journey on skis from hut to hut, where guests can savor the exclusive creations of five Michelin-starred chefs.
Some of the chefs from the Skiing with Taste project will be present in person, offering the chance to meet them along the way. Each dish will be paired with a refined selection of South Tyrolean wines, making the day an unforgettable celebration of flavors and mountain atmosphere.

With Moritz you'll enjoy a truly unique experience: he will meet you at the Piz La Ila valley station, ride the cable car with you up to the hut, and share his tales of tourism in Alta Badia, the evolution of mountain hospitality and his personal memories tied to the hut. TWO RACES, ONE UNIQUE EVENT From December 20th to 22nd, the Ski World Cup returns to Alta Badia. Elite competitors will once again show their talent on the slopes with an adrenaline-fueled exhibition of skiing excellence. The difference between legend and also-ran can be a fraction of a second. And you will get to live and breathe every moment. Share the excitement with other enthusiasts as the competitors cross the finish line, where every last curve is the ultimate test of nerve. Once more, in this 40th edition, the world's best ski racers will battle on one of the most difficult tracks in the white circus. The unmissable spectacle of the men’s giant slalom taking place on the Gran Risa, in the heart of the spectacular Dolomite mountains. From Alberto Tomba to Bode Miller and Marcel Hirscher, there are many champions who have triumphed on this track, which is one of the hardest slopes in the world.

To ensure the highest quality, the breakfast composition is created with the support of Elena Casiraghi, sports nutrition expert - Equipe Enervit. All you need to take part at the event is an ordinary ski pass to access the lifts. Breakfast can be purchased directly at the participating mountain huts.

In Colfosco there is already a special Christmas atmosphere in the air from the beginning of December. The village is decorated with lights and Christmas ornaments. The church square with the majestic Sella Group as a backdrop is particularly impressive: a landscape straight out of a picture book. The string ensemble is a musical group made up of established concert performers.
The varying number of members, led by first violinist Guido Freschi, in the dual role of soloist and conductor, allows for a wide-ranging exploration of contemporary musical literature.

Join us to celebrate the end of the year with an unforgettable event that has become a true tradition! The festivities in Colfosco will begin at 4:30 pm with a magical children’s torchlit descent – if you’d like to join, sign up at the Colfosco Ski School – followed at 5:00 pm by the impressive torchlight procession of the instructors from the Colfosco Ski School. The atmosphere will be enlivened by a DJ, and the Colfosco Fire Brigade will add even more cheer with a lottery and plenty of fun. Starting at 6:00 pm, get ready for a unique experience: a laser show will come to life, with colorful beams of light creating shapes and light displays, transforming the surroundings into an immersive and magical wonderland. Celebrate the arrival of the new year with us!

Take part in the traditional torchlight descent together with the ski instructors of the San Cassiano Ski School. It will be a unique opportunity to experience the thrill of skiing down the snow with torches, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The Piz Sorega cable car will be open until 5 p.m. and to make this evening even more special, we are waiting for you with a warm welcome at the Piz Sorega refuge with a hot soup to help warm you up before the exciting descent. Concert as part of the Badiamusica Festival with the Quadriga Consort. Quadriga Consort is one of Austria’s most successful ensembles, internationally renowned for its SONY best-selling albums On a Cold Winter’s Day, Crime and Mystery, and Winter’s Delights. When darkness falls over the British Isles, stories that get under your skin have been awakening for centuries: songs of unrequited love, ballads of mysterious figures, eerie murder ballads and lamentations about loss and transience. The Austrian ensemble Quadriga Consort brings these old melodies back to life – with harpsichord, viols, recorders, percussion and vocals. Many of the songs tell of cold nights, stormy winters and survival in a harsh, barren landscape. Well-known folk ballads meet forgotten treasures from Ireland, Scotland and England. In new arrangements by Nikolaus Newerkla, they unfold with a special intensity: archaic, moving, sometimes ghostly – and yet timelessly touching. ‘Darkness Falling’ is a concert evening full of contrasts – between tenderness and power, between Celtic mysticism and baroque elegance.
