On this family walk you will discover all the tricks, which the animals in the Nature Park have developed to survive during the cold season. With help from a ranger, children and parents will learn together how to interpret animal tracks in the forest. After the adven- ture in the snow, you can warm up with a good hot tea in the Visitor center.

Put on your snowshoes, a heavy jacket, and enter the Valley of the Mills following Christoph, an expert hiking guide. The moonlight, reflected on the snow-covered ground, reveals for you our fabulous Dolomites, which show themselves in a unique and spectacular new guise. Christoph will also take you to discover how the ancient mills that give the valley its name work.
To warm you up, a hot drink will be waiting for you when you return.

From the cultivation of fodder to the rearing of calves, to livestock farming with dairy products and their refinement into tasty yoghurt, butter and cheese. Even the energy is generated directly on the farm. In the barn and the cheese dairy, visitors can take a tour and learn about the process from milk to cheese. The parish choir of Niederrasen performs a selection of Christmas songs at the Christmas market.

The party begins at 8.00pm at the pavilion in San Martin. At 9.15 pm torchlight procession* from the castle to the center of San Martin. The celebration goes on with live-music with the grup Fonzies and other suprises.

The torch-lit walk begins at the tourist office in Niederrasen and leads participants through the winter darkness, past snow-covered paths and picturesque landscapes. The route ends atmospherically at the Christmas market in the park, where the scent of mulled wine and baked goods welcomes the walkers. You can toast this magical winter evening with a warm drink – an unforgettable experience for young and old during the festive Advent season!

Local ski schools and their teachers will direct the whole show and present something new again this year. The spectacular jumps are accompanied by a moderator and music. You don't even notice the cold in this unique atmosphere. Then there is also mulled wine, which helps to warm up.
