*1970 in Bolzano/Bozen (Italy), independent artist. Studio house for sculpture, public art interventions, drawing and painting in the historic Fundneyt residence near Klausen/Chiusa (Dolomites, Italy). Teaches and lectures at various universities. His works can be found in numerous international public and private collections.

In the second half of the 19th century, running a business, practicing a skilled trade, or, least of all, being an alpinist was far from easy if you were a woman. The period between 1865 and 1914 saw numerous wives of photographers active in mountaineering and mountain photography, and it would not be possible to include them all in this exhibition. Instead, four women photographers were selected to represent the group in this exhibition. Among them, Elizabeth Whitshed Main takes a special place as an outstanding photographer, alpinist, and the founder of winter alpinism in general and winter tourism in the region of Engadin, Switzerland, in particular. The exhibition also features works by Gertrude Bell, Eleonore Noll-Hasenclever, and Una Cameron, three distinguished alpinists, travel journalists, and women’s rights activists. From the cultivation of fodder to the rearing of calves, to livestock farming with dairy products and their refinement into tasty yoghurt, butter and cheese. Even the energy is generated directly on the farm. In the barn and the cheese dairy, visitors can take a tour and learn about the process from milk to cheese. An amusing hike in the beautiful valley basin of Olang (1.050m), „ the three village country“ on the east side of the Kronplatz/Plan de Corones. In a schort time we will reach with our own cars the Train Station of Olang, where the hike will beginn. Free parking and WC. We hike on leisurely walking and hiking trails with panoramic views of two different mountain worlds, the magnificent mountains range of the „Olanger Dolomites“, the mountains of the Antholzertal on the main alpine ridge and beautiful views over the Valdaora basin. There are various options for the route. Entertaining and rewarding hike on the south side of Kronplatz/Plan the Corones in the Ladin valley of Maréo. We hike through magical forests in the footsteps of the Salváns (forest people of the Ladin legends) against the backdrop of the magnificent Enneberg Dolomites and the glistening waters. In a short time we will reach by our own cars the delightful Ladin village of St. Vigil in Enneberg (1.200m) at the „entrance of the Fanes kingdom“. Free parking and WC at the park visitor center where the hike will begin. There are various prepared as well as unknown shortcuts and paths, so our experienced guide will decide at the beginning of the hike which route will be the ideal one depending on the conditions of the current terrain, ground conditions, snow conditions and so on. Colourful Easter market in the village centre of St. Lorenzen! Be impressed by the 31 artisans, hobby artists and various market stalls.

Spring is here, and with it the Easter market in Bruneck from April, 10 to 12 ! From 10.00 am. to 6.00 pm., over 20 artisans invite you to marvel and shop. In addition to classic Easter decorations, there will be handmade jewellery, ceramics and glassware as well as wood carvings.
