The illuminated cross-country ski trail in Reischach offers a unique experience for skiing enthusiasts every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday until 8.00 pm. Perfectly groomed tracks and atmospheric lighting make gliding through the winter landscape a special highlight.

We take the local bus (line 424) to the Kreuzner car park, from where we hike along the groomed forest road to the Rodenecker Alp Hut. After a stop at one of the rustic alpine huts, we walk along the Creation Trail to the Zumis car park, where we take the bus to Mühlbach and another bus back to St. Lorenzen/Bruneck. “Snow Tubing by night” takes place every Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Both young and old can race down the fun track on inflatable tubes, creating unforgettable winter evenings. Participation is free with the Guest Pass of the Kronplatz Dolomites Region (Olang, Antholz Valley, Bruneck, Kiens, St. Vigil). All others pay an entry fee of €5.00.

Snowshoes are ideal for getting around in fresh snow, away from the crowds and discovering views and landscapes that only a few have the privilege of seeing. This snowshoe hike is particularly suitable for those who have never used this fun tool. The route is easy and without any technical difficulties, but allows you to approach hiking in fresh snow, a wonderful way to connect with winter nature. Start at 8.50 a.m in Hofern/Corti bus stop; 9:00 in Kiens/Chienes at the tourist office. Travel by minibus or private car to the parking lot in Ellen. From there, hike to the Rodeneck/Rodengo high plateau and stop at the Starkenfeld hut. If the group is in a particularly good mood, the summit of the Astjoch can be climbed on the way there or back. Alternatively, it can be agreed with the group that the tour will be made in the Pfalzner or Terner mountains. Walking time: 5 - 6 hours Altitude difference: 500 - 750 m depending on the variant to the summit of the Astjoch Return: approx. 15:00 - 16:00 at the Kiens tourist office Please bring the following: suitable shoes and clothing, water bottle, packed lunch if required. Try out the biathlon feeling, with short introduction and shooting with the smallbore rifle. Anyone can join, with or without skis (children from 12 years).

The fauna of the Dolomites includes many types of known and easily sighted animals, such as squirrels and deers, but includes as many, difficult to see and hear, especially in the world of birds of prey. After an introduction in the Nature Park House Visitor Center (approx. 50 min., only in Italian!), we will drive to the Owls Park, where Mario will show and tell us the peculiarities of his feathered friends.

Today you will have the opportunity to get to know and taste various smoked specialties from the Steiner butcher shop.

Put on your snowshoes, a heavy jacket, and enter the Valley of the Mills following Christoph, an expert hiking guide. The moonlight, reflected on the snow-covered ground, reveals for you our fabulous Dolomites, which show themselves in a unique and spectacular new guise. Christoph will also take you to discover how the ancient mills that give the valley its name work.
To warm you up, a hot drink will be waiting for you when you return.

On return to the start we warmly invite everyone to a hot drink.

Seeing it with your own eyes, it is not surprising that, for thousands of years, the Fanes plateau and its mountains have inspired stories and legends of princesses, heroes and lost kingdoms. Starting at the Pederu Hut, Christoph, an experienced hiking guide, will take you to the mountain pasture Fanes, at an altitude of over 2,000 metres, through an astonishing variety of landscapes. Snow-covered groves, frozen lakes and austere mountains form the backdrop for a wonderful hike, where legend becomes reality.

From the cultivation of fodder to the rearing of calves, to livestock farming with dairy products and their refinement into tasty yoghurt, butter and cheese. Even the energy is generated directly on the farm. In the barn and the cheese dairy, visitors can take a tour and learn about the process from milk to cheese. Every Monday evening, Olang transforms into a magical place: the torch-lit walk allows you to discover the winter village under the warm glow of torches, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. The walk lasts about an hour and a half and leads you through the snow-covered landscape – a memorable experience for young and old alike. The flickering torches add a special touch, making this evening an unforgettable experience for the whole family. An amusing hike in the beautiful valley basin of Olang (1.050m), „ the three village country“ on the east side of the Kronplatz/Plan de Corones. In a schort time we will reach with our own cars the Train Station of Mitterolang, where the hike will beginn. Free parking and WC. We hike on leisurely walking and hiking trails with panoramic views of two different mountain worlds, the magnificent mountains range of the „Olanger Dolomites“, the mountains of the Antholzertal on the main alpine ridge and beautiful views over the Valdaora basin. There are various options for the route. Depending on the condition of the current terrain, ground conditions, snow conditions and so on, our experienced guide will decide which will be the ideal one.
