Worthwhile hike through the Zerzertal valley to the alpine pastures Brugger- and Oberdörferalm with panoramic views of the Upper Vinschgau Valley basin and the surrounding Alps.
Start is the information office in Burgeis/ Burgusio, from there onto the trail no. 4 past the mountain lake and continue on the Goassteig trail no. 24 to Bruggeralm alpine pasture (1,915 m). From the pasture onto trail no. 8 to Oberdörferalm alpine pasture (2,057 m - not open to the public). Follow trail no. 9A in an arch around the Watles mountain and down the trail no. 4, which passes by Pfaffensee lake. Continue on trail no. 4A and trail no. 3, which leads to Plantapatschhütte hut at the mountain station of the chairlift Watles. The descent leads along trail no. 3 past the Höferalm alpine pasture and ends at Watles valley station.
