The Merano High Mountain Trail n° 24 runs for almost 100 km around the Texel Group Nature Park, from farm to farm, from village to village, from valley to valley. On this stage you can get to know a short section of the Merano High Mountain Trail South!

From the mountain station of the Texelbahn cableway (1,544 m) east along the Meraner Höhenweg n° 24 in the direction of the Nasereit refuge hut and on to the Tablander Alm hut (1,788 m). Continue over the "Hohe Wiege" (viewpoint, 1,809 m) to the Hochganghaus hut (1,839 m). From here, descend steeply via trail n° 7 and n° 7A down to Partschins/Parcines (642 m).
Easy variant
A easier option for the descent into the valley is to follow the hiking trail Merano High Mountain trail n° 24 from the Hochganghaus hut to the Leiter Alm hut (Vellau/Velloi) (approx. 1 hour's walk). From there you take the cable car (Korblift) to Vellau/Velloi (Variant bus line n° 235 Vellau/Velloi-Meran/o) or the chairlift from Vellau/Velloi to Algund/Lagundo (Mitterplars/Plars di Mezzo) (bus to Partschins/Parcines n° 213).
