Eppanerhof. The name lives up to its promise. This historic building with its shady terrace, garden and large car park may be found right in the centre of Eppan-Appiano, making it the idea base for walks and cycling tours in the Überetsch valley area. Our rooms afford generous views across the sea of vineyards that make up the Überetsch valley and as stretch far as the provincial capital of Bozen-Bolzano. To the west the Mendel-Mendola mountain, with its densely forested ridge, may be seen rising up, inviting hikers to scale the heights and enjoy the views for miles around.
Eppan-Appiano is a lively village on the South Tyrol Wine Road, where posh boutiques may be found alongside corner shops, elegant vinotheques next to the village cafè, and prestigious restaurants beside traditional pizzerias.
Eppanerhof is a combination of the latter: the good reputation of the pizzas served in its restaurant extends beyond the local surrounding Überetsch area. Traditional food is served in the open air beneath knobbly chestnut trees.
