The Burgauner bakery in Kastelruth is a family business that has been in existence for more than 100 years. It offers fresh bread, pastries, cakes, Schüttelbrot and much more every day. All products are traditionally made with a lot of care and love. The bakery has a large selection of pastries and cakes that change constantly and are made with different ingredients so that every customer can find something they like.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

For several years now, Weindiele Tires is known by wine connoisseurs and gourmets for selling high quality products. Many years of experience and professionalism offered by Günther and Irene, are essential characteristics that make Weindiele Tires a unique wine shop. The Weltladen Schlern is located near the centre of Castelrotto and is run by volunteers from the surrounding area. It is the youngest among the 16 World Shops in South Tyrol and opened its doors in November 2019. As the Weltladen Schlern is a branch of the Weltladen Klausen, there is a close cooperation between the two shops. The concept of the shop is to support disadvantaged producers in the Global South through fair working conditions, wages and social projects instead of exploiting them in the current economic system. Imported food, cosmetics and handicrafts that can be bought in the shop are all Fair Trade certified. Selected South Tyrolean products offered in the shop promote small regional cycles and strengthen small-scale farmers.

We produce and sell our homemade bread and pastries. We only use the best local ingredients from Italy and Austria for the production.

 

 

The bakery in Kastelruth is a family firm that has existed for several years. In the bakery, South Tyrolean specialties such as wheat and rye breads, baked goods such as cakes, pastries, cookies and cookies are produced daily. All baked goods are made from fresh, high quality ingredients and prepared with great attention to detail.                                                                                           

Good, close and fresh - the "Tschenglser Ladele" in the small village of Cengles/Tschengls provides for the local supply.
