An ascent of the Baroque tower, up 325 wooden steps, offers grandiose Dolomite views. Kastelruth is also famous as the hometown of the Kastelruther Spatzen, a renowned folk music band. Kastelruth/Castelrotto leaves a mark for its history and architecture and is therefore represented by "I Borghi più belli d'Italia" - Italy's most beautiful towns - an association that aims at valorizing small towns' historical and artistic value.
