Most livable small city

Bordering with the Ahrntal valley in the north and Val Badia in the south, the city of Bruneck is in the heart of the Pustertal valley. During your holiday in South Tyrol, take a visit to this economic and cultural centre in eastern South Tyrol which attracts visitors with its mix of sophisticated flair and authentic lifestyle.

Stepping through one of the carefully-renovated medieval town gates, you'll find yourself on the long Stadtgasse street, which is lined with small stores, boutiques, cafés, restaurants and wine bars. Here, you can immerse yourself in Bruneck’s colourful town life. Looking upwards, discover the Schloss Bruneck castle and above it the Kronplatz, which in winter is an impressive ski mountain.

On another note: in 2009, Bruneck was ranked as Italy's most liveable small town. Book your holiday in Bruneck and you'll have the chance to make a reservation at the Atelier Moessmer, the three-starred restaurant of chef Norbert Niederkofler.
