Sheer pleasure in a white and wide expanse
Skiing on the Seiser Alm with enjoyment, Europe’s largest high-altitude Alpine pasture
It is a natural wonder when Europe’s largest high alpine pasture is transformed into a winter paradise covered in deep snow. The Seiser Alm lies at an altitude of 1,800 to 2,300 m and consists of an area of 56 square kilometers - the equivalent of 8,000 soccer fields. From this sunny high plateau in the middle of the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park there are astounding views of the surrounding Dolomite massifs of Schlern, Langkofel and Plattkofel. In the welcominghuts of the ski resort Seiser Alm - Val Gardena, enjoyment is writ large and the 175 km of slopes come in different types: beginners and families love the large snow slopes, adventurists go on the ski circuits Seiser Alm Ronda or Seiser Alm- Val Gardena Ronda, freestylers practice their jumps in the Seiser Alm Snow park - it is rated the best snow park in Italy. For those who can’t get enough, there is a direct connection to other slopes of the Dolomiti Superski resort area by lift or ski bus.
