The hike starts directly at the mountain station of the cable car Stiergarten and leads from there always slightly downhill over the Klammbachalm and the Nemesalm to Passo Monte Croce. There you can take te bus to reach the starting point Signaue. 

The hike starts in the center of Niederdorf at the Spitalkirche (Church). The path follows the edge of the forest towards the picturesque Moos Chapel, offering constant views of the charming village and the majestic backdrop of the Pragser Dolomites. When the sun barely appears for two months in the village of Schmieden/Ferrara and hides behind the vast mountain massif of the Herrenstein peak, the farms just above the village enjoy the bright sunshine. Enjoy the extended view of the Pragsertal valley during a hike along the sunny side of the village. Starting in Schmieden/Ferrara or St. Veit/S. Vito you follow the road leading to the highest farms in the village. The Moserhof guesthouse awaits you - warm up in the cosy rooms and taste some regional specialities.

The hike starts directly at the mountain station Monte Elmo, reachable by the cable car Sesto or the cable car Versciaco. From there it goes to the Rifugio Larice and further on the Mitterberg to the valley station Monte Elmo Sesto.

he Waldkapelle Chapel, an emergency chapel built during the First World War for returning farmers, was used during the Second World War to hold German masses, which were banned by the fascists. The meditation path with 14 stations leads from the Parish Church in Sexten to the Waldkapelle Chapel. Along the way, the stations invite you to pause. To avoid walking back along the same trail, continue along the path and then turn right up towards Gasthof Waldruhe . From there you walk comfortably 
along the asphalt road down to the Hösler Höfe farms and the last stretch along the forest path to the starting point.

Winter hike along the Drava/Drau River and return by bus from Prato Drava.

It is a very fine and enjoyable hike for everyone - easy, practical and very beautiful, but the best thing is the view!!!
