A snowshoe hike to discover the winter magic of Resciesa. In the company of a guide you will explore the Resciesa Alp in the middle of the Puez-Odle Nature Park, which offers a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape. Arrival by cab via Val Gardena to Ortisei to the valley station Rasciesa (1.304m). Our tour begins with the ride of the funicular (fee required) to the Rasciesa (2,254m). Once you arrive at the mountain station, start heading East by passing behind the hut. Although you'll be following a prepared track, it's possible to put on your snowshoes right away! After only a few minutes you'll reach the Cason hut. Keep wakling until you reach a crucifix, then continue uphill through the woods. Soon you'll reach the edge of the forest and the wide pastures of Resciesa will extend at your feet. You'll notice a little tower made of rocks nearby - it's called "Ciampanil de Livio" and was built by a bored shepherd while his sheep were grazing in the surrounding pastures. From here you'll be able to clearly make out the crest of Resciesa. You can reach it in little time by following a trail uphill. Once you get to the ridge, walk along it to the west (you should be able to make out a crucifix in the distance) and you'll eventually reach the highest part of the alp. Take your time to enjoy the 360 degree view from the top. To your left, you'll be able to admire the pastures above Villandro, to the North the mountains of Zillertal, to the South Alpe di Siusi with mount Sciliar and the Rosengarten, and to the East of course the unmistakable Odle mountains. This view alone is worth the excursion - it's one of the best in the valley. Once you've taken it all in, simply hike back in direction Resciesa hut - that is your last chance to enjoy a well-deserved break before returning to the middle station and getting back to Ortisei. Arrived in Ortisei we take the bus back to Laion. Walking time: 4 h Height difference in ascent:310 m Height difference in descent: 650 m Distance: 9,5 km

We start with our hiking guide in front of the information office in Laion, where the cab will take us to Monte Pana (1600m). From here we take the shuttle (for a fee), he brings us to above Monte Pana. From here we hike trought the Ochsenwald and then to the Zallinger inn (2054m). Stopover at the hut followed by a joint toboggan run (for a fee) or by foot (by arrangement) down to Saltria, where a shuttle take us back to Monte Pana. The cab is already waiting for us and takes us back to Laion. Walking time: 2,5 h Height difference in ascent: 250 m Height difference in descent: 390 m Route: 8 km

From the top station, take trail no. 35, to the Brogles Hut (2054m). Behind the hut the path joins the Adolf Munkel path, which was built as early as 1905. You walk at the foot of the Sas Rigais until you finally reach the Geisler Alm (1996m) via the 34 path. After a comfortable break, the descent by a toboggan (for a fee) or by foot (by arrangement) follows via the 34 path to Ranui (1350m). Here the cab is already waiting to take us back to Lajen. Experience the guided snowshoe hike through the breathtaking landscape of the Seiser Alm. The tour is moderately difficult and allows a unique nature experience. Discover the beauty of the Dolomites while hiking along the snowy paths. Along the way there are many opportunities to admire nature and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Depending on weather conditions and snow depth, the route will be on a wide snowshoe trail or off the beaten path. On the way there are also always small breaks, where the group is informed about the alpine world. The mountain guide Helmut Kostner knows the area and the best hiking trails, to accompany the participants and you safely on accompany the tour.

In the evening, the snow-covered landscape of wintertime Deutschnofen has a magic all its own. The moon and stars make the snowy slopes sparkle – if the sky is cloudy, we simply bring along some torches to light our way during our romantic nighttime stroll. The Gourmet Skisafari celebrates the official start of the culinary winter season on the slopes, with a very special kind of ski safari. At a number of mountain huts, Michelin-starred chefs will be treating skiers to their delicious dishes, using top-quality products - a hallmark of our region. Professional introduction with the expert Martin Psenner with many tips and tricks to learn the correct driving and braking technique from 11 a.m.-12.30 p.m. & 1-3 p.m., Duration: 20 minutes. The athletes of the Super-G will go in scene on Friday 20th December 2024 and the day after, Saturday 21th December 2024, will attempt the stars of the classic downhill race on the Saslong. The history of the World Cup in Dolomites Val Gardena goes back to the 1970s. The Saslong slope is one of the most beautiful and well-known stages of the world cup, what with its famous and feared ‘camel hump’ and speeds of up to 100 km an hour. The Ski World Cup took place in 1970 in Dolomites Val Gardena, among other places; on that occasion the whole skiing world set its eyes on the Saslong slope. Women and men took part in dozens and dozens of races on the slope as well as on the region’s other famous slopes: Ronc, Ciampinoi and Cir. Today, a super-G and a men’s downhill race take place in Dolomites Val Gardena once a year. Local celebrities and international legends fulfilled their dream of one day being the winner of the FIS ski World Cup in Dolomites Val Gardena. Once more, in this 39th edition, the world's best ski racers will battle on one of the most difficult tracks in the white circus. The unmissable spectacle of the men’s giant slalom taking place on the Gran Risa, in the heart of the spectacular Dolomite mountains. From Alberto Tomba to Bode Miller and Marcel Hirscher, there are many champions who have triumphed on this track, which is one of the hardest slopes in the world. The evening will start with a torchlight descent of the ski instructors. Then the ski show of all the Alta Badia ski schools will begin. An explosion of talent, creativity and love for the mountains! THE GUIDE IS ONLY IN GERMAN AND ITALIAN! An unforgettable winter hike through the idyllic Videgg/Viadacqua-Hirzer hiking area. Discover this stunning winter terrain on an organised snowshoe hike with guide. After reaching Videgg by bus from Schenna/Scena, our hike starts along the forest road, through the snow-covered forest looking out on a majestic mountain panorama to the Videgger Asse pastures and back. This winter hike maximises the experience of this pristine terrain, our snowshoes enabling us to move across the snow with little effort. The total elevation gain is approximately 400 m, and the hike lasts about 3 hours. For lunch we stop at a cosy mountain inn in Videgg to enjoy a taste of the sumptuous local fare. After this well-deserved break we make our way back to Schenna in the early afternoon. Throughout our snowshoe hike, we are accompanied by experienced mountain guide, Elisabeth Unterthurner.

Put on your snowshoes, a heavy jacket, and enter the Valley of the Mills following Christoph, an expert hiking guide. The moonlight, reflected on the snow-covered ground, reveals for you our fabulous Dolomites, which show themselves in a unique and spectacular new guise. Christoph will also take you to discover how the ancient mills that give the valley its name work.
To warm you up, a hot drink will be waiting for you when you return.

Every Tuesday, between 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., the K-Express cable car takes you up to 1,600 meters. Up there, a 5-kilometer-long, illuminated toboggan run is waiting for you to ride it. Plunge down the piste on two runners and enjoy the night sky all the way down into the valley. A unique experience for young and old!

The world's cross-country skiing elite will once again be guests in Dobbiaco - together we will celebrate the turn of the year. From 29 December to 1 January 2025, the best cross-country skiers in the world will be competing for prestigious World Cup points in the Nordic Arena in Dobbiaco. The Coop Fis Tour de Ski 2024/2025 will open like fireworks on 29 December 2024 with a sprint in the free technique. The classic individual race will take place on 31 December and the crowning glory will be the pursuit race , with a new unique course overlooking the Three Peaks on 1 January 2025. Stay tuned.
