Each of us has a very sophisticated body and energy system that usually functions far below its potential. Kundalini yoga is a science that recognises how these systems work. The magic of the Granfondo Dobbiaco-Cortina, which is ready to take flight for its 48th edition on the weekend of 1 and 2 February 2025, does not stop. The Granfondo Dobbiaco-Cortina is one of the most traditional and popular long-distance cross-country ski races, capable with its enchanting tracks to immerse the fans of narrow skis in the magnificent environmental context of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites of Alta Pusteria and the Ampezzo peaks. The dates for the 2025 edition have been confirmed for the first weekend in February, with the event re-proposing the beloved format: on Saturday 1 February, classic technique enthusiasts will open the dances of the Dobbiaco-Cortina with the 42 km TC, while on Sunday 2 February, free technique lovers will be able to unleash their energy on the 35 km course. For both routes, the start is at the military airport in Toblach, from where they ‘take off’ in the direction of the finish line in Fiames - Cortina d'Ampezzo at the foot of the Pomagagnon 01.02.25 42 km classic 02.02.25 35 km skating

The world's best junior speed skaters come to the Ritten again. On the 1 & 2 and the 7 - 9 February 2025, the world's fastest open-air rink in the Ritten Arena will once again be the venue for a major speed skating event. The Junior World Cup is the second of the four stages of the Junior World Cups. World Cups have already been successfully held in 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017 & 2023. Up to 250 young talents from 21 nations are expected on the Ritten to compete for the desired medals and World Cup points on Saturday and Sunday. The organizing committee is particularly pleased about the participation of 2 speed skaters from Ritten.

Moonlight Classic - cross country race by night Moonlight Classic Seiser Alm is a cross-country-skiing race on the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi / South Tyrol / Italy. The distances are 15 and 30 km,the classic diagonal style only is allowed. We promote young talents, support us! For every registration, the Moonlight Classic organisation committee donates one Euro, which will be doubled by a sponsor, to the South Tyrolean Sports Aid in order to support the young athlethes.

The Gsiesertal Lauf is one of the best-known and best-loved ski marathons in the entire Alpine region. It is the second largest ski marathon in Italy, and is held on the 3rd weekend in February in the Gsies Valley, South Tyrol (Italy). Ever since it was first held back in 1984, this race has never once been cancelled due to weather conditions. In 2021, the event was cancelled for reasons of force majeure (Corona). The event attracts a great deal of international skiers, with a good forty nations at the starting line every year and a great many World and Olympic Champions listed on the roll of honour. The race runs along two routes, one of 30 km and one of 42 km; the classic race is held on Saturday and the skating race on Sunday. The amateur “Just for Fun” group. with none of the stress of rankings and timekeeping, is also extremely popular, and the programme of events also includes the “Gsiesertal-KIDS-run” on Saturday. Dolomites Dirndl Ski Day Val Gardena has decided to celebrate Women’s Day on the 8th of March 2024 by hosting an exciting and colourful sport event. The Women’s parallel slalom will see all participants wear a ‘dirndl’ (a traditional South Tyrolean dress). Participants will meet at the Baita Daniel on the Seceda, where the race will take place. After the race, Women's Day will be properly celebrated with a party at Café Val d'Anna. Info & registration at the Tourist Office Ortisei.

Individual athletes, teams of two and the tireless "mountaineers" will tackle 20 km and 2,000 metres in altitude from Bolzano to the Rittner Horn in running shoes and on skis. The participants in the mountaineering category run from the start, complete with ski equipment, for the Ulli Seebacher Prize. Route mountain race: Start in Bozen (Mountainspirit shop), St. Magdalena along hiking trail 6 to Oberbozen, Kaserhof, Riggermoos, Tann, Pemmern (transition area). Route ski tour: From Pemmern ski route along the designated ascent track Feltuner Hütte and ascent Rittner Horn. The starting signal will be given on 2 March 2024 at 9 a.m. in the centre of Bolzano (262 m) and leads over a distance of 20 km and 2,000 metres in altitude to the Rittner Horn (2,260 m). First with running shoes to the Ritten high plateau in Oberbozen, then to Pemmern to the valley station of the Rittner Horn mountain railway and from there on skis to the summit of the Rittner Horn with a fascinating 360° panoramic view of the imposing Dolomites and the surrounding mountains. Both men and women take part in the Horn Attack, individually or as a pair. In the individual competition, athletes take on the challenge alone. In the two-person relay, the pairs alternate in Pemmern. The first athletes run to Pemmern, the second athletes ski to the finish. Participants in the "Mountaineers" category experience pure adrenaline. They start in Bolzano with their ski touring equipment on their backs, walk to Pemmern and then strap on their skis to cover the last 7 kilometres to the Rittner Horn. The participants in this special category will be honoured with the "Ulli Seebacher" prize in memory of the co-founder of the Hornattacke, who died too young. Online registration is open until 28 February 2024. Those who register by 31 December enjoy an early bird price of €50 for individual participants, €100 for the two-person relay and €50 for climbers. All participants are required to present a valid sports medical certificate when their race number is issued. The countdown for the fifth edition of the Hornattacke is on.
