On Sunday, 19 October 2025, from 2:00 PM, the final musical highlight of the “Sexten Mountain & Music” series will take place at the Rif. Pendio Monte Elmo. Egon and Stefan will perform traditional live music, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. This event is also part of the Herbst³Zeit supporting program. Admission is free. Everyone is warmly invited to join this special finale. Everything tastes better on the mountain, including breakfast! This is probably thanks to the fresh air and the great panoramic view. For brunch at the Ristorante Monte Elmo, it's definitely worth jumping out of bed early, even on weekends.

Experience the autumnal alpine splendour during a mountain bike tour together with the Bike Academy Sesto Dolomites. After a few easy uphill sections, you will be rewarded with a marvellous view of the Three Peaks. After a well-deserved break, you return to the village of Sesto. We start at the Bike Academy Sextner Dolomiten and tackle the first 4 km on a forest road to the Rotwandwiesen (1,950 m). From there, we go over the Schellab-Alm down to the Kreuzbergpass, where trail No. 146 takes us to the Coltrondoalm (1,880 m). We continue on past the Nemesalm Hut to the Klammbachalm (1,950 m). In the end, we return to Sesto. The feast of the town in Ferrara of Braies Valley is organized on the pre-last weekend of October. On Saturday is positioned the "Kirtamichlbam" (the traditional tree) by the no-married young boys. In the evening is organized the "Kirtaball" (dance party) with a DJ and traditional music. On Sunday the day begins with a good Bayern breakfast with "Weißwurst" and beer. Typical dishes are served for lunch. In the afternoon the "Kirtamichl" is taken off and around it you can listen live music: in the end you can win the traditional "Kirtamichlbam".

The tourism industry faces the challenge of combining economic success with environmental and social responsibility. The series of events entitled ‘Sustainability in Tourism – Vireo on Tour’, organised by Vireo in cooperation with local GSTC-certified destinations, provides information about the certification process, specific measures and best practices. The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) is the international reference organisation for the promotion of such sustainable tourism practices. The events take place at various destinations in South Tyrol and offer space for exchange, inspiration and practical ideas. On Monday, 3 November 2025, a lecture on this topic will be held in Italian at the Haus der Berge. Bella Shahsuvaryan and Matteo Viviani will give lectures from 4.45 p.m. to 6 p.m.
