Tradition or zeitgeist. Each of our menus runs under these 2 slogans: You only have to select your desired motto. One thing is always similar: our philosophy of cuisine. For every dish we use home-grown products of near-by farmers and individual small suppliers. Whether eggs, milk, vegetables, meat or fresh water fish - we know every partner on a personal base. Though the melting of these local foods with world's famous delicacies is the challenge: Always creative but yet simple and distinctive in taste.

The Turmwirt is located in the historic center of Gudon between the church and Castel Summersberg. In the former clerk building of the 17th century the Gasser family serves since 5 generations seasonal and regional dishes accompanied by fine wines from the surrounding vineyards.

Our comfortable country inn, part of the “South Tyrolean Inn” group, is located in Sirmiano/Sirmian above Nalles/Nals, between Merano/Meran and Bolzano/Bozen at 930m altitude. In the midst of a green environment and in a hiking region, our inn is an ideal place to peacefully enjoy nature with a good meal. Here you are also rewarded with fantastic views of the Dolomites. Since 1962 we have been catering for our guests’ physical well-being and satisfaction. The award-winning cuisine is the very heart of the hotel; cosmopolitan in spirit, it is based on the finest of regional ingredients and redefines the borders of culinary excellence. The creations conjured up by head chef Tomek Kinder and his team are served in the Defregger Stube fine-dining restaurant and the Courthouse Stube dining room, where guests can look forward to a 5-course Alpine dinner. Great care is taken to ensure the perfect wine pairing, recommended by experienced sommeliers. Every day, hotel guests are treated to a magnificent breakfast with superb regional products including jams, cheeses, the best of cold cuts and much more in the original wood-panelled Stube dining room. Weather permitting, lunch, dinner and light meals are served on the garden terrace.

Here you will find Mediterranean cuisine and grilled specialties with a total of ten different premium beef varieties from around the world. At Aomi you will dive into the world of Wagyu and Kobe Beef.

Young chef Franz Mulser conjures up superlative dishes in a small kitchen just two and a half square metres in size at an altitude of 1930 m. The young chef’s maxim is “fresh and natural”. The hut has a maximum capacity of 25 people and, in the evenings, meals must be booked in advance. During the day, hikers and, in winter, skiers and snowboarders come here in search of refreshment. The evenings are particularly relaxing and guests can enjoy Franz’s dishes, such as hay soup with truffles or local venison.

An restaurant with a difference in the luscios Villnöss Valley. Chef Oskar Messner adds his own personal touch to traditional dishes and surprises guests with his unique creations. Most ingredients are directly sourced from local farmes, such as the award-winning lamb from Villnöss spectacled sheep.

Kuppelrain is framed by trees and shrubs, you will find us directly at the small cozy station of Castelbello which has been modernized lately. Our proven team is still from Chef Jörg Trafoier and sommelier Sonya. Since the spring of 2013, is son Kevin Trafoier in the kitchen next to the stove and Jörg has his own style complements the creative dishes of our house and further developed. For some time, daughter Natalie Trafoier is now fully entered the family business. As a trained pastry chef and Patissière can expand our extensive range in our Bistrot perfect. The heart of the house: Restaurant Terra Only a few steps from heaven you'll find the highest-located starred restaurant in Italy. Everything you get at Terra - The Magic Place is home-made. The cuisine of gourmet chef Heinrich Schneider is modern and of subtle finesse. The dishes are characterised by products from South Tyrol and farmers from the immediate vicinity. These unique gourmet highlights are matched with the best wines, recommended by the certified sommelier Gisela Schneider, sister of Heinrich. The reconstruction works in the restaurant, the heart of the house, will be concluded in May 2014. Now, the restaurant will also have its own name: "Terra". Especially the most discerning guests can reserve the exclusive "Chefs Table", a table located at the entrance of the kitchen, directly served by the chef and characterized by a special treatment. Andrea Fenoglio seems never to run out of his creative vein, which he displays in his restaurant "Sissi" in front of the Prince’s Castle behind the Lauben arcades. His latest menu "Settepiatti" is certainly to be tried. His cuisine is a lively one, always with an eye to the playful aspect, rich of interesting sparks without forgetting the courses more related to tradition, reinterpreted in a modern key. Great attention is paid to the choice of products, always the real main characters. The informal though ever accurate service creates a cosy atmosphere up to the point of often giving the impression of being at home. Five hundred different wines on the list, twenty of them offered even at the glass and always at a more than decent price. This restaurant is an ideal choice for a quality quick lunch as well.
