The mountain community of Vöran/Verano, situated on the Tschögglberg Mountain Plateau, is one of the sunniest areas in all of South Tyrol. Here, the sun rises earlier and sets later than down in the valleys. Vöran is a real hiking paradise today.
You can reach Vöran from the village of Burgstall/Postal, between Meran/Merano and Bolzano/Bozen, in just five minutes by the cable car. Bus stop near the valley station in Burgstall (bus line "Bolzano-Meran" or "Citybus Lana").

On workdays: from 7.00 a.m. until 7.40 p.m. every 20 minutes (except 8.20 a.m. and 8.40 a.m.). From May 1st to September 30th last ride on 8 p.m.

The 2-seater chairlift brings hikers and bikers from Palmschoß to Kreuztal in summer and is also in operation for skiers in winter.
The cable car Unterstell takes hikers and trekkers from Naturno/Naturns, area Compaccio/Kompatsch, to the mountain station Unterstell. Unterstell is the central starting point for extended hikes on the Monte Sole of Naturno and the Texel Group Nature Park.

The cablecar takes you from Dorf Tirol/Tirolo (650 m) to Hochmuth (1400 m) within 5 minutes. You'll reach a wonderful mountain-scenery with a uniqe view above Merano and the so called "Etsch-Valley." There are various trekking possibilities: from an easy and delightful declimb to the funiculars base station to the wonderful round walk along the Spronser lakes and to the peaks of the Texel Group.
Journeys half-hourly. Continuous service at peak times (every 5 minutes).
Simply hop into the Texel Panorama Cable Car at Partschins/Parcines – a great adventure for the whole family way up the mountains and the perfect place for a walk or hike surrounded by the incredible beauty of nature.
The cable-car climbs up to the Merano High Path (No. 24) at 1,544 mt. in the Texel Group Nature Park and to the start of many delightful walks in the area around Partschins/Rabland/Töll!
Just take a good look at the unique beauty of the Partschins mountains. Paths lead back downhill from various places or head off into the so-called 1,000-Steps Ravine.

Europe's third-oldest cable car, built in 1912, takes you up to the Vigiljoch - which is now back in operation after a 9-month construction period, completely renovated to the latest state of the art. The ride from 334 to 1,500 metres in the new comfortable cabin for 40 people now takes only 6 minutes. The valley station is located in the centre of Lana, only a 2-minute walk from the Oberlana bus station.

On the way up from Ortisei to the top of the mountain on 2.200 meters you can enjoy for 8 minutes the wonderful panorama of the Dolomites.
The cableway San Martino accompanies visitors and hikers from Laces up to the mountain village of San Martino in Monte (1,740 m) in just a few minutes, making it an ideal point of departure for various types of journeys. Starting from here, there are numerous other trips to the crest of Monte Sole along easy trails such as the high-altitude path leading to Silandro.
At the San Martino in Monte cableway mountain station is a restaurant, with scenic views down towards Laces and Val Martello and into the glacier world of the Ortler Group. There’s a 16th century shrine devoted to the a village of just 120 inhabitants, presumably built on a pagan holy site above a cave.
Malga di Tarres and Malga di Laces at the Monte Tramontana of Laces in Val Venosta invite to numerous hikes, high mountain tours and bike tours in summer. Lago di Tarres, Laghi del Covolo, Jochwaal irrigation channel, Zwölferkreuz peak, Orecchia di Lepre (glacier) or Gran Ladro are just some examples. Other popular tours are the crossing to Val d’Ultimo or the pleasant alpine pasture tour. All hikes offer marvelous panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
You can comfortably reach the Malga di Tarres and Malga di Laces hiking paradise by chair lift. In winter, it turns into one of the most unspoilt areas for snowshoe hikers and ski tourers.

The four-person chairlift with canopy will take you from Gardonè (1650 m) to Passo Feudo (2200 m). We are in the presence of Latemar, a World Heritage Site, and here, the panorama is exceptional. This is the start of the geological trail, Geotrail Dos Capèl (created in conjunction with the MUSE Science Museum of Trento and the Geological Museum of the Dolomites in Predazzo), and of excursions that will take you out to discover the peaks of Latemar, such as the famous “Tower of Pisa (2671 m), and tours of Latemar by mountain bike.

It's a mere seven-minute ride on South Tyrol's largest ropeway to what the locals lovingly call the sun deck of Merano – that's award-winning architecture and sustainable mobility fused into one of the most cutting-edge ropeway systems in the Alps.
With services running every 15 minutes, each cabin can carry up to 120 passengers (plus one cabin attendant) from the city right to the doorstep of the skiing and hiking resort of Merano 2000 – at an altitude of 2,000 m above sea-level.

The chairlift ist the fastest and most convenient mode of transport between Dorf Tirol/Tirolo and the centre of Merano. It starts at Monte S. Benedetto and offers wonderful panoramic views of Merano.
A short trip across the enchanting Ratschingstal valley takes you to the bottom station of the Ratschings-Jaufen lift. Already during the comfortable ascent with the ultra-modern 8-seat cable car, you can admire the fantastic winter landscape around you that will make you look forward to a wonderful day of skiing. High above, at 2,150 m, you are already in the middle of pure snow fun.
The 10-person gondola lift was taken into operation in 2016 and carries passengers in summer and winter from the village of Schihütte up to the Pfannspitz mountain.
Cosy and nostalgic single chair lift which takes you from 1500 metres at 1814 metres. Enjoy the ride through the beautiful larch Woods and on the way back will experience breathtaking views of the Dolomites.
Telemix with heated seats
Here you can go for a walk, go climbing, have fun on the cycling trails, and admire these natural monuments. With its breathtaking views, ultra-modern facilities, convenient connections, and welcoming mountain huts, this is the perfect area where to spend exciting summer days.
Within a few minutes, the Hirzer aerial tram takes you 1.500 m higher, right to the heart of one of the most amazing hiking areas in the Merano disctrict. From the Klammeben top station, located almost 2.000 m above sea level, you can oversee the sunny Hirzer plateau with its network of hiking trails that meets all preferences: you may choose a lovely and relaxing walk to an alpine inn just as a demanding high alpine hiking tour to the top of the Hirzer-Cervina or one of the many other mountain peaks within range.
This two-seater chairlift runs up to the Mittager peak at 2,260 m above sea level in both winter and summer. At the top, expect jaw-dropping panoramic views of the South Tyrolean mountains: The vistas of the famous Dolomite peaks in the distance are simply breath-taking.
The Mittager chairlift is open to pedestrians year-round.

From the Falzeben car park above the village of Avelengo, the Falzeben gondola lift runs all the way to the mountain station of the Merano 2000 ropeway at Pivigna.
On a quick and convenient ride to the peak, the gondola lift offers wonderful panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes of craggy peaks and deep valleys.
Chairlift and gondola basket lift Vellau
The ride with the single chairlift from Plars to Vellau is a dreamlike experience of nature. Slowly you travel up through the vineyards and forests from Algund to Vellau.
From there, the nostalgic gondola basket lift brings you directly to the Leiter Alm mountain pasture - situated on the Merano High Mountain Trail - at an altitude of 1,550 metres.
