Kasserolhof - pasture geese, honey, fruit
    Villnöss/Funes, Dolomites Region Villnösstal
The Kasserolhof farm, run by Marlene and Lorenz Psenner, is situated at 850 metres above sea level on the edge of Villnöss valley. As an ARCHE farm, they have dedicated themselves to rare livestock breeds with the aim of breeding them and thus saving them from extinction. The Kasserolhof stands for diversity on the farm, which is why, in addition to special cattle and donkeys, you will also find a small apiary, a colourful flock of chickens and a large number of grazing geese, which provide the best meat in autumn. Fruit spreads, syrups, apple juice, eggs, nuts and cut flowers are also on offer, subject to availability. During a guided tour of the farm, interested visitors can learn all about the diversity at Kasserolhof, followed by a tasting session.

    Mesnerhof - Fruit and vegetables
    Villnöss/Funes, Dolomites Region Villnösstal
The Mesnerhof is a farm in Nafen that is passionately looked after by farmer Rosmarie Prader. Due to the sunny location and the ideal altitude, various local fruits and vegetables as well as vines can be grown on the farm. In addition, cows are kept on the farm for dairy farming. The farm's own products can be consumed by visitors directly on site or purchased from the farm. Sustainability and the traditional way of life play a major role at the Mesnerhof and these values are thus also passed on to the guests. Combine a visit to the Mesnerhof with a walk along the adjacent meadows.

    Alpine Herb Garden
    Villnöss/Funes, Dolomites Region Villnösstal

In our herb gardens - the mountain herb garden in St. Magdalena at 1400 metres above sea level and the show herb garden in St. Valentin - old and new knowledge about the recognition and use of wild aromatic and medicinal herbs is brought back to life. Around 150 different, mainly native plant species thrive in our herb garden.
In guided tours, the herb specialist teaches interested visitors the identification of wild herbs and their use in cooking and folk medicine.
Our herbs are only fertilised and treated organically; due to the altitude, the plants develop high-quality secondary ingredients.
The herbs are air-dried on wooden shelves, placed in breathable sacks and only cut, mixed and bottled when needed. The blossoms are collected individually and gently dried so that the magnificent colours are preserved. Everything is handmade!
