The starting point is the Popena bridge on the access road to Lake Misurina. The trail first follows the Rio Popena gently uphill. Already during the ascent, you can admire the majestic Dolomite peaks – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – in all their glory. Further up, the valley opens up, offering stunning views of the Cristallino di Misurina and Monte Popena. At around 2000 m, the forest begins to thin out and the terrain becomes more open. The route continues to the Sella di Popena, where you enjoy a magnificent panorama of the entire valley and Lake Misurina. In good conditions, you can extend the tour to the Corno d’Angolo. This winter, we are excited to once again offer an exclusive ice skating course in collaboration with the talented figure skater Sara Furlan. With her many years of experience and passion for the sport, Sara will inspire you with the fun and beauty of ice skating. The courses are divided by age groups: Children aged 3–5: 16:00–17:00 Children aged 6 and older: 17:00–18:00 Sara recommends attending all the sessions to get the most out of the training. However, if you can only attend a single session, that is also possible. Christmas Celebration on December 20th: As a special highlight, Sara invites you to a small Christmas celebration on December 20th at 5PM. The thrill of being the first! Even before the usual opening time, you take the Seceda cabin lift to reach the altitude of 2.500 m, where the first rays of sunshine will dive the Sassolungo Group into a magical light.
