This hike from Mühlbach to Spinges is perfect for families and nature lovers. It offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape and leads to a historic bunker, which holds exciting experiences for children.

Caution: use the path under the bridge of the statal road.

The adventure trail takes you past the farmed Moarhofalm until shortly before the upper Grünbachalm uphill on the forest road and the last section on the well-marked hiking trail to Grünbachsee.
Except for a few possible shortcuts, the same way back.

A fun hike for the whole family

From Antholz Mittertal (sports area) > to the Eggerhöfe > turn left > follow the foresty road (path n. 6a) > Kumpflalm.

The excursion around the pearl of the Dolomites crosses a small chapel. Part of the circuit is practicable through a stair path. Croda del Becco / Seekofel Peak is marvelously reflected in the lake. Walking time: 1 hour Sign-post: No. 1, 19

The village circular route of Aicha is an easy hike. From the starting point, the church of Aicha, simply follow the sign "Dorfrundweg".

From Niederrasen > passing the church > continue on the asphaltic road on the edge of the woods (mark n. 20) > Oberstallerhöfe > path of return following mark n. 5 > Oberrasen.

Start at the Culture house Oberrasen > back to the main road > cross the river > continue along the road for approx. 100m > turn right and follow the signs to the Oberrasen barbecue area (path no. 3b) > cross the small bridge > turn left to the barbecue area and right along the river you go back to the starting point

From Antholz Mittertal (sports area) > Eggerhöfe > turn right > follow the foresty street > n. 3/12 > Klammbach Waterfalls > Bergeralm.

In the South Tyrolean part of the Zillertal Alps, in the middle of the Pfunderer mountains, the Brixner hut at 2,282 m awaits you. The shortest and most unusual way to get there starts in Vals, more precisely from the Fane Alm, a rustic mountain village. You first walk along a gravel path and cross the idyllic alpine village of Fane with its traditional huts, cattle sheds and small, charming church. Trail no. 17 continues along the Vallerbach stream to the waterfalls. From here it is a leisurely ascent to the Brixner hut. The trail is ideal for families, and the panoramic views over the Valler Valley will delight you!

From Antholz Niedertal (towards the fishpond or starting from Walderhöfe) follow the mark n. 31b > Hofstatt Alm.

This leisurely circular hike leads from Schenna through the apple orchards along the Bloseggweg hiking path, continuing to the Kampflkreuz, and then back via the Mitterplattweg hiking path. Due to the nature of the path, it is also suitable for strollers. This circular hike is especially recommended in the spring during the apple blossom and in the autumn during the harvest season.

Start at the Jochtal valley station and follow the so-called "Dynafit" trail  (no. 10). This trail is well-marked and runs through the picturesque landscape of the Jochtal valley. As you progress, the view opens up, offering you breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding mountain peaks.

This trail is not only a summer adventure: in winter, the Dynafittrail becomes a popular ski touring route, providing a safe and varied ascent to the mountain station for ski tourers.

From Niederrasen (house Hölzl) > on the left side walk on the edge of the woods > foresty road > "Alte Goste". 

From Antholz Niedertal > crossing the river to the Walderhöfe > slightly downwards to Bad Salomonsbrunn > return on path n. 1 to the starting point.  

From Antholz Niedertal > path n. 15 to the Dörfl > Nösslerhof > Berghotel Johanneshof > and back on the main road to the starting point.

The Gitschberg Alpine Hut Circuit takes you to the most charming alpine huts in the region, from rustic cabins to cozy refreshment stops. Along the way, enjoy sweeping views over the Puster Valley and the Pfunderer mountains. The panoramic points at the Moser Hut and the Gampen rest area, with its unique wooden sculptures, are especially worth visiting.

The hike to Anratterhütte combines nature and history. The path leads through a peaceful forest, past alpine meadows, with the added historical interest of the bunker at the start.

Easy hike through woods and meadows to the farms of Ameto which are located in a beautiful panoramic position.

From Niederrasen (Pfaffingerhöfe) > following the edge of the woods (Dorfrundweg) > Jagdhaus > on the asphaltic road (mark n. 3) down to Oberrasen > back to Niederrasen along the river.

Park your car on the top of the Staller Saddle (2.050 m) > path n. 113 > Lake Obersee > Ausserweger Hütte.

Alternatively from Lake Antholz > trail no. 11 > Staller Saddle > Obersee > Außerweger Hütte.

On this wintry hike along a section of the Steinegg Ridgeway, you will pass through forests to beautiful viewpoints with fantastic views of the Rosengarten and Schlern mountains. After about half of the circular hike, you come to the Oberölgart alpine hut - a nice place to stop for a bite to eat and drink, even in winter. Via a tarred road with very little traffic, you come to a very idyllic chapel in the middle of the forest, the ‘Kaserer Bild’ chapel. Continue along the tarred road through the woods to the starting point.

Inform yourself in advance about the opening hours and closing days of the Oberölgart alpine hut in winter.

Start from the parking area in Margen and follow the path past the church of St. Margareth. Continue until you reach the turn-off to Talson. Take the Talsoner Road, which leads directly to the Lechnerhof Hut. The trail offers you a charming landscape and a cozy atmosphere.
Please note that the hut is open only in summer from Thursday to Sunday.

The hike begins at the Fane Alm parking area, accessible via a narrow mountain road from the village of Vals. Initially, you follow trail no. 17 briefly in the direction of Fane Alm. Shortly after, you turn right onto the alpine road to Tschiffernaun Alm– a more relaxed alternative to the steep trail 15A. The road leads you up to Tschiffernaun Alm. At the beginning, you walk through dense forests, passing by small waterfalls. Later, near Stin Alm, the forest opens up to expansive alpine meadows.

From Camping Corones > on the "Dorfrundweg Rasen" slightly uphills to the road Redensberg > downwards and turning left up to the "Jagdhaus" > turning right until reaching a bar > continue on the edge of the woods reaching the barbecue area > cross the main road > path to the river > along the river back to Oberrasen or Niederrasen.

Children need constant change and are always looking for adventure. The Ahrntaler Sonnenwege (sunny trails) and especially its Ahrntaler Hexensteig (Witch’s trail) is the ideal spot to give families such exciting adventures. It starts at Mühlegg/Costa Molini from where you walk to the rushing Frankbachwasserfall (waterfalls). Continue on and pass an old millstone which tells us a little about the farm life of long ago. You then get to some rocks which are ideal for children looking for adventure and who want to test their climbing skills. The very brave children may even dare to enter into the bear cave and walk through the 20 m long underground tunnel where they will have to pass the witch’s big chair and a wooden carved family of bears before reaching the end of their hiking destination – the family friendly Bizathütte (lodge) which welcomes you with its mountain restaurant.

There are so many highlights of the Star Village of Steinegg|Collepietra to discover on this varied & family-friendly hike, even in winter - you walk past the open-air exhibition at the Pstosser Bühl, at the Mountain Cinema near the Biohotel Steineggerhof there are great views of the mountains Schlern|Sciliar and Rosengarten|Catinaccio, the small chapel ‘Zum Weißen Bild’ is on the wayside, you can admire the earth pyramids of Steinegg|Collepietra from afar and you also pass the Rocket Tree House for children in the forest adventure zone "Öl".

You will find refreshment stops in the centre of Steinegg|Collepietra.
