Kunst Meran is pleased to present the fourth edition of the exhibition and publication project New Architecture in South Tyrol together with the Architekturstiftung Südtirol and the Südtiroler Künstlerbund. After the first three editions (2006, 2012, 2018), the new edition presents another inventory of projects that document the architectural development process in South Tyrol and tell the recent architectural history of this region. The selection was made by an international jury. The exhibition New Architecture in South Tyrol 2018-2024 will be on display at Kunst Meran from 27 October 2024 to 16 February 2025. The publication of the same name with the selected 56 new South Tyrolean buildings and texts by Filippo Bricolo, Annette Spiro e Elisa Valero Ramos will be published by Park Books in Zurich. Snow does not always appear pure white, at least not to the attentive gaze of two painters like Alfons Walde or Max von Esterle. In his paintings, von Esterle poetically celebrates the magic of snow, while Walde - a little later - does so with concise expressiveness. This is the first time that these two important painters appear together in an exhibition. Alongside theirs, there are also snow-covered landscapes by other contemporary Italian and Austrian artists. All of these paintings create a variegated fabric that, unravelling, creates an unmissable spectacle. In the exhibition, of course, exponents of the art of our time with their abstract compositions or thought-provoking installations have not been left out. At the conclusion of the exhibition, in fact, at a time of climate change, a question about the ‘future of snow’ could not be left out: how much longer will we be able to enjoy this spectacle? A photo exhibition of thoughts and emotions. My name is Gabriel Colombani, and I am deeply passionate about art and people. The idea for this exhibition arose from a desire to express myself through photography, an art form I used to view as somewhat dry and self-contained. My perspective shifted when I had the opportunity to create this exhibition, inspired by a photo book I previously designed, which also lends its name to the show: “A me, a voi” ("To Me, To You“). This book is like a visual diary of my experiences, where each photo is connected to a significant person or moment. We humans are made up of countless facets, and few things are more meaningful than witnessing the reaction of someone seeing an image dedicated to them—whether beautiful or challenging. We invite you to visit the exhibition: Monday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday and holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The schedule may be subject to changes. Located at the summit of the Kronplatz (in South Tyrol), the museum has dedicated 1,800 square metres to mountain photography. Spanning four floors, the LUMEN offers the possibility to experience the history of mountain photography from its beginnings until the present as well as displaying the art of mountain-photographers from all over the world.

The Alta Pusteria InternationalChoirFestival is a non-competitive event held in the Puster Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in the entire Alpine region. Nestled at the foot of the Dolomites, it stretches along the border between Italy (South Tyrol) and Austria (East Tyrol). The festival program includes around sixty performances, featuring concerts, open-air revues, and meeting days, where each participating choir is free to present its own repertoire. Founded in 1998, the festival stands out for its diverse venues and the rich variety of choral repertoires, making it not only one of the most spectacular international choral music events but also a meeting place for different musical cultures. The Soirées at Tyrol Castle are held every year in June and July, on five Thursdays. Now for the 35th year, top international ensembles give impressive concerts in the Great Hall of Tyrol Castle, presenting music from different countries and cultures. Traditional farmer and handscraft market in the town center! As one of the oldest market villages of South Tyrol, San Candido will follow the tradition of the farmer's market with a demanding and innovative program. The project is called "Heugabel" and describes the farmer market and the farmer life.

The multi-coloured autumn leaves and trees invites you with sweet ripe apples, beckon visitors to visit the Natz-Schabs High Apple Plateau. For a week in autumn, everything revolves around the apple, giving rise to a series of events. The Apple Festival is held on the second Sunday in October and is the climax of the autumn celebrations in Natz. The highlight is a big parade and the awarding of the Apple Queen title.
