A sunset aperitif makes your ski day in the Carezza ski area truly special. In the Laurins Lounge, the highest panoramic lounge in South Tyrol, you can unwind and enjoy the moment. Wine-tasting with Alto Adige wines at 2000 m. The Wine Skisafari offers a cheerful expedition on skis across the country’s multitude of wines. Tickets are available online and also on the day of the event at participating huts: - Ütia Bioch - Pralongiá hut - Piz Arlara - I Tablá Alta Badia, the Dolomite region for epicurean holidays, supports, among other things, the responsible use of alcohol under the motto: taste, enjoy, but don't overdo it. Too much alcohol on the slopes slows down reflexes and can cause accidents even on the ski slopes. Please remember, when skiing, the consumption of alcohol is permitted in moderate quantities, fines will be imposed if the alcohol level exceeds 0.5 per mille. n the villages of Vilpian, Siebeneich and Terlan asparagus has been grown for centuries. Today 15 asparagus growers in Terlan plant approx. 10 ha of high quality asparagus and sell it under the trade mark and hallmark of excellence Margarete. The elegant looking and extremely mild tasting Terlan asparagus is very popular with the connoisseurs of this white spring vegetable. In April and May several restaurants invite visitors to enjoy classic and creative asparagus dishes made with the valuable Margarete asparagus. Fresh asparagus with home-cured ham, boiled potatoes and Bozner sauce is one of the classics. The meal is accompanied by the fine, mineral containing Terlano “asparagus wine” (Sauvignon) from the Terlan winery.

As the sun sets on the horizon, casting a breathtaking play of colors across the sky and the Dolomite mountains, a culinary experience of the highest class begins: The Chef's Open Air – Sunset Edition in the Eggental Valley. 6 Eggen Valley gourmet chefs, 4 old wood-fired ovens, 1 legendary mountain backdrop: the main ingredients for the Chefs’ Open Air as part of Eggental Valley’s Culturinarika. In the picturesque alpine meadows below the farm Stadlalm in Welschnofen, between the Rosengarten and the Latemar, between the grill and the fire pit, between creative and sophisticated creations, at this event you can look over the shoulders of the chefs as they prepare their delicious dishes. A gourmet menu with a panoramic view! The Berglertafel mountaineers’ dinner is a five-course menu of typical dishes from Tiers served in a stunning setting. The venue is Proa, a mountain pasture with a view of the Rosengarten. There is arguably no other vantage point in Tiers am Rosengarten from where you can see the famous alpenglow of King Laurin’s famous kingdom ... and all this while enjoying a fabulous gourmet menu. The table is more than a 100 metre long and can seat 170 gourmets who – in the form of a row – can enjoy a fabulous meal and, at the same time, this unique view of the Rosengarten.

When beauty meets goodness, the celebration becomes irresistible. This time, the magic will take place again at the Pisciadú Waterfalls. You can easily reach us from Corvara or Colfosco by following trail 28. Our local chefs will enchant you with traditional Ladin dishes, both sweet and savory, prepared with passion. In summer, eisacktalWein organises the traditional wine tasting "Treffpunkt Wein" under the large arcades in Brixen in collaboration with the Brixen Tourismus Genossenschaft. Several Eisack Valley winegrowers will set up their tables in the arcades and present their wines to a wide audience. There will also be cheese variations from DeGust Affineur and specialities from Naturbackstube Profanter. This special wine evening will also be accompanied by music.

The village of Laas is known for its marble quarry, which attracts artists and students from many countries. But it is also known for its organic products such as fruit and vegetables and especially its juicy apricots. The Marble Village combines both at the "Marmor&Marillen" festival, with a beautiful market, food stands, live music, children's programme and where artists and sculptors exhibit their works. For more than 20 years, this cultural and fun festival has brought visitors closer to the ancient traditions of fruit growing and marble extraction in Laas.

In August, as part of Dine, Wine & Music, local gastronomy serves up gastronomic specialities paired with excellent wines from the Eisacktal Valley in front of the dreamlike backdrop of the Brixen Cathedral. Local hosts prepare their finest summer dishes, and you can try them all. The evening is rounded off by vibrant live music.

If you hadn’t realised it before, when the first rays of sun timidly appear on the surrounding peaks you will see just how much it was worth getting up so early. A sunrise mountain tour on the Schlern mountain is a very special experience. A shuttle bus will take you to the Saltner Tschapit hut, where the ascent begins. Equipped with headlamps, you will arrive at Monte Petz (2,564 m) at around 6:50, in perfect time for the sunrise. After this natural spectacle, a well-earned breakfast awaits you at the Schlernhaus mountain refuge, also known as the “castle in the mountains”. When autumn begins in the southern Valle Isarco/Eisacktal, it starts also the so-called Törggele-season. Chiusa/Klausen celebrates the beginning of this ancient tradition with a big festival. From 19th September to 21st September, the artist's city Chiusa dedicates itself entirely to the traditions of the "Törggelen" and transforms itself into some kind of outdoor tavern. Through the streets of the town, gastronomic stands offer various South Tyrolean specialties, such as Knödel, Schlutzkrapfen, sausages with sauerkraut (fermented cabbage), doughnuts, Strauben and roasted chestnuts. A rich selection of white wines from the Valle Isarco completes the culinary offer. The festival has also a colourful entertainment program and a lot of popular music.
