By continuing to use and browse the website suedtirol.info (“Website”) or downloading the Südtirol Guide app (“App”), collectively referred to as “Südtirol Info,” you (“User”) agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms and Conditions”), which, together with other notices, policies, and terms included on the Website and App, govern the relationship between IDM Südtirol – Alto Adige (“IDM”) and the User regarding the use of Südtirol Info.

The content of Südtirol Info is not intended for use by minors. By continuing to use Südtirol Info, the User confirms and declares to be at least 18 years old.

IDM reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating this document. Users are required to periodically review these pages to stay informed of any changes, which will be binding. The updated Terms and Conditions will indicate the date of the latest revision.

The term “Südtirol Info” refers to the platform developed by IDM Südtirol – Alto Adige, based at Piazza della Parrocchia 11, 39100 Bolzano. Südtirol Info includes the Website accessible at https://www.suedtirol.info and its complementary content, such as the App, which provides certain functionalities of the Website and additional user benefits, including location-based services. The App is available on Google Play and the App Store and can be used via smartphones.

The term “User” refers to any individual who accesses or interacts with Südtirol Info, regardless of whether they make bookings or register for a personal area on the Website or App.

The term “Service(s)” refers to offerings provided by IDM to Users. This includes, but is not limited to, the presentation of accommodation facilities (“Accommodation Facilities”) on the Website for potential bookings by Users, as well as tourism-related information, news, and opportunities in South Tyrol, such as descriptions of experiences, excursions, visits, events, and other tourism proposals. Users may also opt to receive newsletters to stay updated on IDM’s news and initiatives.

The term “Accommodation Facilities” refers to hotels, residences, farm stays, hostels, campsites, bed and breakfasts, and other hospitality facilities advertising their rooms or accommodations on the Website for potential bookings by Users. These facilities can only be booked via the Website and not through the App.

The term “Profile” refers to the set of identifying data associated with a User who registers on Südtirol Info as described in Article 4.

The term “Favorites” refers to pages of Südtirol Info and Services that the User saves for future reference. These are accessible in the Favorites section of the Profile on both the Website and App and can be modified or deleted by the User at any time.

The content of Südtirol Info is compiled with the utmost diligence. However, IDM does not guarantee that the data is always accurate or up-to-date, as it is provided by external sources. Specifically:

• Accommodation Facilities: IDM disclaims all liability for inaccuracies in the information and/or descriptions of Accommodation Facilities. Booking-related matters remain solely between the User and the Accommodation Facility under the terms and conditions set forth by the latter. IDM is not responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of the information provided by Accommodation Facilities, including rates and availability.
• Weather Service: Weather information is provided solely through the App and sourced from third-party providers. IDM is not liable for any unavailability or inaccuracies in weather information or for any consequences arising from reliance on such information.
• Experiences/Tours/Attractions: IDM does not guarantee the quality or availability of published services, facilities, or experiences. Users are solely responsible for evaluating their own suitability and preparedness for engaging in experiences or activities described on Südtirol Info.

IDM is not responsible for:

1. Physical or psychological conditions of the User regarding participation in specific experiences.
2. The adequacy of the User’s equipment for selected tours or activities.
3. Weather conditions or their changes during an activity.
4. The operation or availability of paths, routes, or facilities described on Südtirol Info.

IDM is not liable for any data loss, interruptions, or other issues arising from external causes or beyond its control, including malware or cyberattacks. Furthermore, IDM assumes no responsibility for content accessed through external links provided on Südtirol Info.

Users may register a Profile on Südtirol Info to access Favorites and other functionalities. Registration is free, restricted to individuals aged 18 or older, and allows Users to personalize their experience. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities associated with their Profile.

IDM reserves the right to delete Profiles at its sole discretion if irregularities or misuse are detected. Users may request Profile deletion through the personal area, resulting in the permanent removal of associated data.

The content on Südtirol Info is provided by third parties and published by IDM. Occasionally, Südtirol Info may include links to external websites. These links do not imply endorsement by IDM, which assumes no responsibility for the content of linked websites.

Users are prohibited from:

1. Transmitting harmful or malicious software via Südtirol Info.
2. Conducting systematic or automated data collection on or through Südtirol Info.
3. Submitting false or misleading personal or User-related information.

Rates and cancellation policies are determined by Accommodation Facilities and are not the responsibility of IDM. Payments are processed externally through third-party platforms. IDM is not involved in payment transactions and is not liable for unsuccessful bookings due to payment issues.

The App provides functionalities such as weather updates for South Tyrol and geolocation-based suggestions for nearby attractions and services. IDM may modify or discontinue features without prior notice.

The content published by IDM remains its exclusive property. Users may not use any part of Südtirol Info’s material for commercial purposes without explicit authorization from IDM.

The use of Südtirol Info is governed by Italian law. Any disputes arising from the use of Südtirol Info shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Bolzano. Consumer rights to address their local court are preserved.
