The LanAntiqua Festival, organised by the LanAntiqua Association, aims to give "early music", which is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, its deserved place in the cultural life of Lana. This music, which is not limited to any epoch, covers the periods from the Middle Ages to Romanticism. The festival's highest maxim is: original sound, i.e. the performance of the music in an appropriate sound setting on instruments of the period and with the knowledge gained from the historical performance practice handed down in treatises. Thanks to imposing venues such as the church Maria Himmelfahrt in Niederlana with its impressive altar by Hans Schnatterpeck and its special acoustics, top-class concert enjoyment is pre-programmed.

Experience the autumnal tradition of South Tyrol at the popular Törggelen Festival in St. Oswald! Enjoy traditional dishes, exquisite wines and live music. From 11 a.m. you will be served typical Törggelen specialties by the St. Oswald fire brigade. Various music groups play from 11:30 am.

On 19th October, the charming village of Teis in Villnöss valley will host a traditional and beloved festival: the Farmers Festival – an immersive journey through rural heritage, local crafts, and Alpine flavors. Discover the beauty of traditional farming skills up close: baking bread, weaving baskets and hats, felting, woodcarving, and pottery making. Watch skilled artisans at work or try your own hand at these time-honored techniques. At the vibrant farmers’ market, you’ll find fresh local products and delicious farm-style dishes prepared on-site. As you stroll through the streets of Teis, enjoy lively folk music and performances by local bands. Start from 10:00 am A festive day full of authentic experiences, cultural discoveries, and the warm spirit of South Tyrolean tradition.

The "Welsberger Kirta" starts with the festive parade of the Music village band of Monguelfo at 10:45 am. through the Village center. A request concert follows on the Piazza Centrale, where visitors can enjoy their favorite music. Food and drink are well catered for, with Tyrolean specialties, drinks and Kirtakrapfen. This event promises not only musical delights, but also a convivial get-together in a festive atmosphere.

Would you like to find out more about the fascinating world of goats? Then come to the Goat Festival "Goas Festival" with bell flea market, leather embroidery, basket weaving and a small farmers' market. - 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. drive up - 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. puncturing of the 2021 goats - 2 - 4 p.m. ring demonstration - 4 p.m. awarding of the goats Martin's farm shop takes care of food and drinks.

19th October from 9 am to 5 pm The Organic Festival will take place on the open air festival area Algund. The South Tyrolean Health Promotion Association and the Union of Alternative Farmers. Organic products (fruit, vegetables, herbs, infusions, wine, juices, bread, etc.), wholemeal dishes and entertainment for adults and children await you. In addition to a large offer of organic products, there will also be lectures with various speakers.

What would Steinegg Live be without the traditional Steinegg Live Festivity? A highlight of conviviality, the festival invites everyone to enjoy a day full of music, flavours and fun. The festivities begin at 10:30 am with a lively Frühschoppen featuring BOZEN4. At lunchtime, guests can savour hearty Törggelen dishes, perfectly paired with drinks. From 2:00 pm, the Albeinser Böhmische will get everyone dancing with their upbeat tunes. The little ones are well taken care of too: from 2:00 pm, BOBBY LIVE brings fun and laughter to the festival tent. A celebration that combines culinary tradition, musical variety and family atmosphere – now a true highlight of Steinegg Live. Free admission!

Experience a special evening in the medieval courtyard of Haderburg Castle. Live music by Hortus Musice and tasting of different wines of the winery Nals Margreid.

Don't miss the festive parade of beautifully decorated carriages and well-behaved animals making their way from the alpine pastures to the village and back to the home farm. A truly impressive spectacle for young and old alike! Afterwards, enjoy a celebration with live music and delicious traditional dishes.

During the Chestnut Days "KESCHTNRIGGL", everything revolves around the "Tisner Kescht" (Chestnut of Tesimo). During the Chestnut Days, menus in selected restaurants feature specially created chestnut dishes. The chestnut is the protagonist of numerous events during the Chestnut Days KESCHTNRIGGL.

Keschtnriggl - Chestnut days. The Chestnut Weeks and the Törggelen in Merano and Environs have been a South Tyrolean Tradition for years. Chestnut days in Tesimo/Tisens - Prissiano/Prissian, Foiana/Völlan and Lana gets ist Name from the "Keschtnriggl" - a hand-braided basket for Peeling roast chestnuts. For three weeks, a colourful Event Programme is put on for visitors: Chestnut walks, torchlight processions from castle to castle and the "Keschtnfestl" feast in Foiana, with Music, farmers market, chestnut delicates and traditional crafts. The aromatic fruit with ist spiky Shell, grows particularly well in Merano and Environs, and during this green Event has pride of place in the specialities of traditional inns and prestigious Restaurants, as well as in exquisite chestnut products such as sweet chestnut hearts, aromatic chestnut beer, hearty chestnut stollen, tasty chestnut spraed, luxuriant chestnut cake, fluffy chestnut bread, the excellent chestnut panettone as well as the noble chestnut praline.

After a one-year break, the legendary Night of Guitars finally returns – a true highlight for all music lovers. Four internationally acclaimed virtuosos will take the audience on a journey through the fascinating world of the acoustic guitar – each with their own style and unmistakable sound. On stage: Lulo Reinhardt from the famous Reinhardt dynasty, outstanding British guitarist Alexandra Whittingham, French artist Elodie Bouny and Russian rising star Alexandr Misko. The pre-finale of the Steinegg Live Festival shines a spotlight on the South Tyrolean singer-songwriter and pop scene. The feast of the town in Ferrara of Braies Valley is organized on the pre-last weekend of October. On Saturday is positioned the "Kirtamichlbam" (the traditional tree) by the no-married young boys. In the evening is organized the "Kirtaball" (dance party) with a DJ and traditional music. On Sunday the day begins with a good Bayern breakfast with "Weißwurst" and beer. Typical dishes are served for lunch. In the afternoon the "Kirtamichl" is taken off and around it you can listen live music: in the end you can win the traditional "Kirtamichlbam".

The “Gruppo Alpini” is organizing a "Törggelen" festivity on Sunday, 26 October, from 15:00 at the clubhouse Marling. Food and drink as well as musical entertainment will be provided! The “Gruppo Alpini” is looking forward to seeing you there!

When there is an aroma of roast chestnuts on Schlossweg, glasses are filled with delicious wine and the local societies serve up autumnal treats, that means it's Schlossweg Festival time in Dorf Tirol.
