In a carefully curated exhibition, you will find around 50 impressive works, including statues and paintings, reflecting 700 years of regional history. The Parish Museum is located in the historic Gothic granary, a charming building from 1559, situated in the northeast corner of the parish garden. Since 1984, this lovingly restored granary has served as the Parish Museum, providing a unique setting for the exhibition.

Guided tour of the church and visit to the Romanesque three apses church of St. Margarethen. It is one of the Romanesque sites in South Tyrol and represents an art-historical treasure of European value. On the Romanesque Road you will come across numerous documents from earlier times. From the "Foolish Virgins" and the "Dumpling Eater", to one of the oldest churches in Tyrol, the smallest town in the Alps and the highest Benedictine monastery in Europe, as well as other Romanesque frescoes and sites of unspeakable value, these are all part of the "Stairway to Heaven" project. Every Wednesday from 10.00-13.00 hrs.

"Stop for a few moments, then maybe you know how to move on." This is one of 18 phrases on the "Plauser Totentanz" illustration cards on the wall of the Plaus cemetery painted by artist Luis Stefan Stecher. What do these phrases mean? What do they mean to tell us? Art lover and expert Kainz Heinrich, tells you many interesting things about these paintings and his phrases. The event is only in german and italian language.

To the north-east of Monguelfo in the Pustertal valley, rises Welsperg Castle, which is still in good condition. Ruin Thurn is located on the opposite, wooded hill. The two castles can be explored in the form of a pretty circular hike that leads from Monguelfo along one side of the Gsieser Bach stream into the valley and on to the village of Tesido and from there back to Monguelfo. Bolzano. The Centro Trevi-Trevilab offers a truly extraordinary opportunity to get closer to the fascinating, and in some ways still mysterious, Etruscan culture. It does so with the exhibition 'Etruscans. Artists and Craftsmen', promoted by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Italian Culture, thanks to the collaboration of the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia, directed by Luana Toniolo, a museum that preserves the most important collection of Etruscan finds in the world. The exhibition, curated by Valentina Belfiore and Maria Paola Guidobaldi of the museum's curatorial team, is part of the second stage of the 'Stories of Art with Great Museums' event, a multi-year journey aimed at discovering the great ancient and modern civilisations, 'another fundamental step towards learning about our past with the aim of keeping interest in culture and the rich artistic heritage preserved in Italy's great museums alive,' emphasised Marco Galateo, Vice President of the Province and Councillor for Italian Culture. The title 'Etruscans. Artists and Craftsmen' already introduces the particular slant of the Bolzano exhibition: it is not a generic exhibition on the Etruscans, but focuses on a specific aspect of their great civilisation, that of artistic and craft production.

The self-taught artist and trained coachbuilder began painting at the age of thirteen and over the decades has developed into an important chronicler of the South Tyrolean cultural landscape. Influenced by the precise observation of classical masters such as Albin Egger Lienz, Toulouse-Lautrec and Claude Monet, Müller initially created scenes of everyday rural life, later devoting himself mainly to picturesque farmsteads and landscapes, which are now considered his trademark. The nostalgia that has accompanied the artist since childhood is omnipresent in his oil paintings. The artist captures the magic of the South Tyrolean mountains with vibrant colours and impasto structures that transport the viewer to a world of the past. Many of the farms he portrays no longer exist, which gives his paintings not only artistic but also documentary value.

The nativity scene friends exhibit lovingly designed nativity scenes, some of which are traditional, others creative and modern.
