The 18th games afternoon will take place in the Aula Magna/parish hall in Sand in Taufers/Campo Tures. There will be 150 different board and card games on offer. There will be the following specials: archery with Teldra Bogensport, a creative corner, a guessing game, candyfloss, a mini disco and face painting. Food and drinks will be provided! Traditional "Nigglas" performance at the Nativity Museum, in the Almdiele Restaurant, and at the Sportalm. The people of Mühlen ring in Advent with the Kothreinemorscht and turn Mühlen into a Kothrein village. Folk music, dedicated to the Christ Child, Advent and Christmas. Powerful singing of pure voices, plucked, tapped and blown instruments full of melodiousness. The parish church in Taufers is the setting for a musical and lyrical prelude to the most beautiful family celebration of the year.

Enjoy the winter sunrise!

With the cablecar Speikboden and the chairlift Sonnklar it goes up to 2.400m in the early morning, right in the middle of the Ahrntal mountains. Once arrived at the top, you have the opportunity to hike to the Sonnklar Cross, which is only 10 minutes away, or you can enjoy the first sunrays directly at the panoramic tower.

The restaurant Sonnklar and the Schüsslerhof offer you a breakfast afterwards - registration for the breakfast required!

For the first track on the slopes, it can be used the cablecar Speikboden, the conveyor belt "Tottomandl" and the chairlift Sonnklar during continuous opening hours. No special ticket is necessary for this, all regular lift tickets are valid (which can be booked online or purchased at the ticket office even on the day of the special ride). All other lifts will open at 08.30 am.

Attention: If the weather is bad, the event will be posponed to another day! For more information please call the office of the cableways Speikboden T +39 0474 687 797 or the Tourist Information at Sand in Taufers +39 0474 678 076. This decision will be made the day before at 4pm.

South Tyrolean cheese specialities on the slope. Taste the best selection of South tyrolean cheese accompanied by a cheese sommelier!

On Wednesday of each week you can ski from one alpine hut to the next and taste the Bestof togheter with a specialized sommelier. The tasting includes various hand made milk products from local dairy cooperatives. A ski instructor takes care of you and will bring you back safely.
