Farmers' market in Bruneck! Eleven farmers sell every Friday their own products: vegetables, fruits, jams, bread, eggs, meat and cheese in the center of Bruneck

*1970 in Bolzano/Bozen (Italy), independent artist. Studio house for sculpture, public art interventions, drawing and painting in the historic Fundneyt residence near Klausen/Chiusa (Dolomites, Italy). Teaches and lectures at various universities. His works can be found in numerous international public and private collections.

Spring concert of the Kiens/Chienes music band on May 10, 2025 in the culture house of Kiens/Chienes. Start at 8 pm.

As every year, the "Überdrüber Tag" will once again take place in the park of Mitterolang. The event kicks off at 9:00 a.m. with a varied program and live music by Tobias Egger "Barbarossa". At 12:00 noon, the intercultural buffet opens. In case of bad weather, the event will take place in the Congress Hall of Olang.

Happymarkt organizes at the Church Square of St. Lorenzen a flea market from 7.00 am. to 5.00 pm.

An exciting, informative and entertaining circular hike in a culturally rich settlement area rich with a visit to the rustic farm Ausluger (12th century) and its charming farm shop where you can buy the farm's own products which are produced under the seal of quality "Roter Hahn" from 100% regional production. In a short bus ride we sustainably reach the beautiful market town of St. Lorenzen/San Lorenzo (810m/starting point). On partly unmarked unknown paths, walking through meadows and forests, accompanied by beautiful views of Brunneck/Brunico and the Rieserferner group, we cross the Onsberg (939m) and reach the farm "Ausluger", including a visit to the rustic farm, located in the idyllic village of St. Martin/San Martino. After our stay we pass the village characterized by the striking Michelsburg and farms and reach the western end of St. Lorenzen/San Lorenzo. In the face of the imposing Sonnenburg/Castelbadia we hike to the beautiful village of the same name (830 m). An exciting traverse under the Sonnenburger Kopf (937) through the "Hazelnut Tunnel" awaits us. With a magnificent view over the valley widening of St. Lorenzen/San Lorenzo we reach the last section of the hike. This leads us along the rushing Rienz back to the starting point. An enchanting and varied journey of discovery in the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park, accompanied by shimmering emerald green waters. A short drive takes us to the charming Ladin Dolomite village of St. Vigil/San Vigilio di Marebbe, gateway to the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park. The hike begins at the nature park house. First we walk along part of the interesting “Tru dles Liondes” legend trail along the rushing “Rio Dal Plan” St. Vigil/San Vigilio di MArebbe stream. A short ascent leads to the gentle “Tres la Val” hiking trail at the entrance to the “Val dai Tamersc” rugged valley. Along the flat “Tru del Ega” water trail we enjoy the quiet glide and the wonderful color of the stream and reach the bubbling 40 springs “Les Fontanes” and the picturesque green “Lé dla Créda” chalk lake (1,268m). Walking steadily upwards we come to the extraordinarily spectacular small Ciastlins waterfalls (1,400m), a great and impressive ambience! A lonely, unmarked, easy, “secret” secret path below the rock bastion of Monte Sella de Sennes leads us to Fodara Masaronn and the springs of the “Ega di San Vi”. Here we are greeted by the bizarre “Dudesc Apostui” rock towers, the Twelve Apostles, the guardians of the Rautal valley. From here we explore the remaining exciting part of the “Tru del Ega” along a pleasant path to the magnificent “Spiaggietta Ciamaor”, a beautiful recreational oasis located directly on the river. From here we soon reach the starting point. At the end of the hike there is also the opportunity to visit the Nature Park House. In the second half of the 19th century, running a business, practicing a skilled trade, or, least of all, being an alpinist was far from easy if you were a woman. The period between 1865 and 1914 saw numerous wives of photographers active in mountaineering and mountain photography, and it would not be possible to include them all in this exhibition. Instead, four women photographers were selected to represent the group in this exhibition. Among them, Elizabeth Whitshed Main takes a special place as an outstanding photographer, alpinist, and the founder of winter alpinism in general and winter tourism in the region of Engadin, Switzerland, in particular. The exhibition also features works by Gertrude Bell, Eleonore Noll-Hasenclever, and Una Cameron, three distinguished alpinists, travel journalists, and women’s rights activists. Interested in visiting one of our characteristic farmsteads? The Moarhof farm in the hamlet of Obergoste invites you to take a tour of its barn, stables, petting zoo and dairy farm. Following the tour, you can savour some farm products such as milk, butter, yoghurt, cheese, smoked sausages called „Kaminwurzen“ and bacon.

How is a bee colony organised? How is honey made? Why are these industrious, seemingly never-tiring insects so important to us? Our beekeeper will accompany you to the apiary (20-minute walk). Equipped with protective beekeeping clothing, you will have the opportunity to observe a bee colony and learn more about the creation and production of honey. An exciting insight for young and old!

This hike takes us to the Nature Park Puez - Odle, part of the Dolomites Unesco World Heritage.
We will walk alongside the majestic Puez Group, at the bottom of its peaks Cima Dodici, Capuziner and Piz Duleda.
Reaching Fontanacia at the end of the valley, we will be surrounded by th magical silence of the pale mountains.

We will return via the Medalges meadows, konwn for their colourful flora.
