The Ütia Bioch Refuge 2,079 m boasts a long tradition of Ladin hospitality since 1990. Founded as a small ski-restaurant at the top of the ‘Bioch’ chairlift, today it offers a modern experience combining tradition and sustainability. The gastronomic philosophy is based on fresh, local ingredients, emphasising products from the Ladin valleys, with a focus on South Tyrolean wines, thanks to which, in 2020, we were the first hut to be awarded the prized ‘South Tyrolean Wine Culture Award’. Our family-run Pizzeria Traföi is located in the same building as the apartments and has a bar and a dining room with rustic furnishings. You can also dine outside on the terrace or in the "Stüa", an ideal place for meetings, parties or groups looking for a cosy, secluded setting. For our pizzas we select and use fresh, high quality, genuine and local products. An intimate and cosy atmosphere guarantees you a unique experience in the heart of Val Badia. Our speciality is the pizza with chanterelles mushrooms, which you can enjoy during the summer months. The restaurant is open every day for lunch and dinner, except Mondays when it is closed (during off-season).
