“Pröfing” is derived from “grafting” and, in the vernacular, means something like plant refinement. Just as the fruit trees were once refined and furred, today farmer Annemarie lovingly refines the fruits of our farm. In 2014 we decided to farm the Pröfinghof organically. Of course, this also includes biodiversity and so it came about that more and more fruits and vegetables, berries and herbs were planted around our farm. Since 2015 we have also been offering all of these processed treats in the small farm shop!

In our family farm shops we sell: vegetables and fruits of the saison, fruit spread, juices, cyser (apple mead), dried fruit, eggs, and honey from our bees.

The Linterhof is located in the village center of St. Pankraz. On the farm graze 40 happy Krainer sheep.
From the milk, various types of cheese, yogurt and curd are produced in the farm's own cheese dairy.
The farm is managed according to organic guidelines (Bioland).

At the Wieserhof Farm in Vöran/Verano the cattles are reared by Markus in the form of suckler cows. Due to the natural husbandry the meat is of special quality.
Mixed packages from the beef are offered (8 or 12 KG): roast beef, escalopes, roasting joints, goulash, mince, meat for soup and boiled meat, house sausages.

A traditional vineyard above Braunsberg Castle at the entrance to the Ultental Valley - cultivated organically for 25 years - produces two white wines, a rosé, a sparkling rosé and two red wines in its ancient wine cellars.

Bergauf in Pracupola/Kuppelwies is a small social cooperative in Val d'Ultimo/Ultental Valley, which has set itself the task of buying sheep wool from the farmers of the valley and to process it locally. This results in a valuable, domestic raw material being refined in the valley and creating jobs. Last, but not least, woolly feel-good products are lovingly handmade, which many can enjoy: wool slippers, placemats, seat covers, blankets and gloves.

Val Venosta is regarded as the perfect home of the apple - dry, abundant sunshine and yet not too warm and the perfect altitude. In Naturns, over 340 members deliver their harvest to the Texel cooperative, which is responsible for storage, sales and marketing.

Apples delivered directly by the producer can be bought in the in-house retail shop.

Our efforts are focused on the strength and health of the grapes. We want to make wines full of character, individual and which are good for the connoisseur. We achieve this by using cellar technology sparingly, many years of experience and deliberately minimising grape harvests. Ultimately, our own senses of smell and taste decide what we offer our customers. We follow our work in the vineyard and cellar with the knowledge of the positive powers which are in a good authentic wine.

The range of 17 different wines, including award-winning wines such as "Dorado" and "Farnatzer", reflects the quality philosophy of our winery. As a member of the Association of South Tyrolean Quality Vineyards and the Association of Independent Winegrowers South Tyrol, we are convinced that great things can be achieved by working together.

Boarbichl: genuine and pure. Experience the mountain farm in the rhythm of nature. Fresh milk is processed daily into high-quality, regional food directly in the farm’s cheese factory and sold among others in the farm shop. Consider the gift basket “Hofkistl” as a very special souvenir to bring back home (upon request). In addition, a delivery service to hotels and private homes is offered.

The Thurner family grow various fruits and vegetables, which they offer fresh or processed into noble products.

Their assortment ranges from strong wines to natural fruit juices to crispy dried fruit and many other delicacies. It is sold at the farm shop on the Strada del Vino and in the "Ladele" at the via s. Vigilio 10 a Nalles.

The organic farm Stöckler Hof is located in Lana, right on the Brandis Waalweg. There is also a small farm shop where homemade products such as red wine vinegar, Weirouge apple chips, jams, fresh eggs, and the organic white wine "Genuin" are offered. Depending on the season and availability, seasonal fruits are available. Llama felt products made from our own llama wool are also part of the assortment.

Homemade jams, cider and juices, organic apple blossom honey, organic forest blossom honey and Italian cantucci - prepared and refined with love - the Laimer family prepares all these special delicacies for their guests. So you can stock up here!

Arriving at the end of the Pfossental Valley you get to farmstead Vorderkaser (1,693 m a.s.l). The farm, situated in the Texel Group Nature Park, consists of several buildings that were originally built in the 13th century. Today the family of Richard Kofler welcomes guests in the tavern Jägerrast offering typical South Tyrolean dishes as well as quality meat and self-made products of the alpine cheese dairy.

Visitors to the breathtaking Merano valley can enjoy the unique beauty of a place where nature and a masterful human touch come together to create extraordinary harmony.
Just outside Merano, on the way to the Val Venosta, a complex of buildings perfectly kept within their surroundings catches the eye. They are decorated in a graceful, highly tasteful manner and almost blend in with the flourishing local vegetation. Anyone who is curious enough to ask for the name of this “village” – because that´s what it looks like at first – will simply receive the answer “That’s FORST”. It is not called the “beer factory” or the “brewery”, but “FORST”. The name is inherently linked with the local area. It stands for tradition and love for nature, but also for striving to ensure that the quality of its products remains consistently high. Traditional and modern values go hand in hand, making positive contributions to each other: this is the guiding concept of FORST.

The visits of the FORST Brewery are held every Wednesday from April to October at 14.00 o’clock in German language and every Thursday from June to September always at 14.00 in Italian. The alpine dairy of Lagundo offer a rich assortment of local products like cheese, milk, fresh cream, butter and cottage cheese.

All products are high quality and have an unique natural taste. The clients, residents and guests, are enthusiastic of our products. We supply more than 40 shops in Merano every day.

The farm Obertimpflerhof is situated in Vöran, a village above Merano which lies 1,280 meters above sea level.

Franz keeps his pigs on the pasture and in the stable on and around his farm, where they have access to clear mountain air and a lot of space to run free. That and GMO-free feeding is the secret for farmer Innerhofer’s high quality pork meat. In traditional and artisan production it is processed to well-known South Tyrolean speck and other local pork specialties.

Every day, Edith processes the milk from her Saanen goats in the farm's cheese into cream cheese, soft cheese, semi-hard cheese or yoghurt.

"You are what you eat!" We also want to bring this motto closer to our guests and offer various products from our farm for sale: fruit spread, fruit syrup, dried fruit, apple juice, eggs, vinegar, honey, herbal salt, fruit and vegetables depending on the season.

We grow seasonal, regional vegetables and fruits and focus on quality over quantity. In our farm shop, you can get free-range eggs from happy chickens, vegetables, fruits, and our products that are processed as naturally as possible.

The organic winery Stachlburg has been working in an organic and organic way since 1998 and is a member of "Bioland" and the"independent winegrowers of South Tyrol".

The organic wine estate was founded in 1990 by planting Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. A few more varieties were added in the following years. Lagrein Kretzer rosé, Vinschgau Vernatsch, Regent, Vinschgau Pinot Noir, Merlot, Vinschgau Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Terlano Sauvignon, Praesepium (sweet late harvest) and Vinschgau Gewürztraminer are now part of the extensive range. The crowning glory for festive occasions is the sparkling wine: the Eustachius brut sparkling wine.

The goal of the Stachlburg organic wine estate is to produce a healthy, valuable and sustainable agricultural product. Baron Sigmund von Kripp and his family focus on respect for nature, people and traditions, but also sustainable and modern techniques. The naturalness and authenticity of the wines are particularly important to her.

The more than 730 year old Schildhof Obergereuth in St. Martin in Passeier has been an organic certified farm for 22 years. In addition to our beautiful, functional grain mill and the historic courtyard building, we have had an additional highlight on our organic farm since 2018: the first organic craft distillery in the Passeier Valley. We organize farm tours, tastings and specialty evenings in our special gourmet shop. In the leather sofa of the “Distillate Longe Greiter” connoisseurs and the curious can enjoy our products and from April 2021 we will pamper our visitors in the courtyard coffee with special, climate-neutral, delicacies not only from grandmother's recipe book but also reinterpreted classics made from our own and near-farm products. In addition to gin, liqueurs and brandies, syrups and fruit spreads also enchant the gourmet's palate. All products are handcrafted and impress with their special quality.

The 1st bakery of farmhouse bread in Tesimo is opened once a week. On that day you can buy fresh farmhouse bread.

The Niedereben organic farm is located on the "Nörderberg" at an altitude of 634 meters above Rabland/Rablà.

Climatically favored apples, olives, wine and cacti thrive here. The Hofer family supplies fruit and vegetables for the organic box „Biokistl” and runs various home-made organic products typical of South Tyrol in their own farm shop.
