Starting from the village center, the nature and landscape enthusiast Martin leads you along a trail that winds through quiet streets, passing by the Cantina Merano Winery and several other local wineries. Along the way, you’ll encounter informative panels about the history and culture of wine, as well as larger-than-life winegrowing constructions. This approximately 1, ½ -hour walk concludes with a wine tasting at a local winery in Marling or the Cantina Merano Winery in Marling. Guided by a winemaker or cellar master, you’ll enjoy a selection of local wines paired with a traditional “Marendbrettl” (South Tyrolean snack). The new edition of the Women's run Brixen relies on the tried and tested, up to a thousand women will run 4.2195 km through the old town of Brixen - without time calculation and without a start number. The event will start at 6.30 pm with the usual warm-up for all participants, the starting signal will be given at 7 pm. The Women's run adheres to its message "Women run for women" and this year again donates one third of the registrations to women in need.

1,869 metres in altitude, 48 hairpin bends and an incredible all-round panorama await cyclists who get into the saddle at the Stilfserjoch Bike Day. Every year, the legendary pass road on the Stilfserjoch - one of the highest passable Alpine crossings - is closed to traffic for one day and only opened to "two-wheelers" and pedestrians. A starting point for the Stilfserjoch cycling day is in Prad am Stilfserjoch or also in Spondinig. On this popular cycling day, the aim is to conquer one of the highest Alpine crossings, the 2,760-metre-high Stifserjoch. Not a bike race, but: Being there is everything! Lowest point (START): Prad am Stilfserjoch (910 metres) Highest point (FINISH): Stilfser Joch Pass (2,758 metres) Distance Prad – Stilfser Joch: 24.96 km Difference in altitude Prad – Stilfser Joch: 1,848 metres Maximum ascent: 15% Average ascent: 9–11% Safety and road closures: The road closure for motorised vehicles (except e-bikes) applies from TRAFOI to the top of the Stelvio Pass (BZ) from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm. The same closure applies from Bormio to the top of the pass (LO) and on the Siusi side, the Umbrail Pass! Helmets are compulsory for your own safety. Being there is everything! You do not need to register for the start in Prad to take part in the Stelvio Cycling Day. There is no mass start! Everyone starts for themselves. The best start time in Prad is from 6.30 am to 10.30 am. Various car parks in Prad and the surrounding area.

If you hadn’t realised it before, when the first rays of sun timidly appear on the surrounding peaks you will see just how much it was worth getting up so early. A sunrise mountain tour on the Schlern mountain is a very special experience. A shuttle bus will take you to the Saltner Tschapit hut, where the ascent begins. Equipped with headlamps, you will arrive at Monte Petz (2,564 m) at around 6:50, in perfect time for the sunrise. After this natural spectacle, a well-earned breakfast awaits you at the Schlernhaus mountain refuge, also known as the “castle in the mountains”. The summer in Natz-Schabs becomes musical! Every Thursday, concerts by numerous South Tyrolean music bands take place on the high plateau. Traditional and also modern sounds fill the room. The perfect occasion to end the evening in a cosy atmosphere.

For two days, Kaltern will be all about its local wines. Starting from 6 pm, on Thursday, September 4th and Friday 5th 2025, at the main square, in the heart of Kaltern, the local wine producers will offer their wines for degustation. Visitors and wine lovers will have the chance to taste different wines, get informed by wine producers, cellar masters and wine experts and finally enjoy a nice conversation amongst wine enthusiasts.

The Tiers volunteer fire department invites everyone to the 2nd “Tierscher Grisufestl” at the civil defense center in Tiers. Food and drink are well provided for! A highlight of the evening is the charcoal-grilled chicken, which is a real treat for the taste buds. Younger visitors can enjoy themselves on the bouncy castle.

With its unusual shape, the Plattkofel peak is one of the most distinctive and best-known panoramic summits in the South Tyrolean Dolomites. At 2,955 m, the peak also boasts an absolutely spectacular 360° view of the Dolomites at sunrise. A minibus will take you to the Zallinger mountain refuge, from where the fairly steep ascent leads to the Plattkofel mountain refuge. From here, the trail initially leads along a grassy ridge and later a very steep ascent over rocky terrain up to the Plattkofel peak, where you can experience a magnificent sunrise. After the descent along the same trail, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Plattkofel mountain refuge before heading back to the set-off point. DURATION OF THE HIKE (WITHOUT REST) 2:15 h from Zallinger to Plattkofel peak (3,7 km; 900 m uphill) 1 h from the peak to Plattkofel mountain refuge (2,3 km; 650 m downhill) 30 min. from Plattkofel mountain refuge to chair lift Florian (1,4 km; 250 m downhill). There we take the chairlift to Saltria, where the minibus awaits you.
