A ‘borderless’ cultural and musical experience in the border triangle! The Venosta Festival event series puts culture centre stage. With various acts and performances from the border triangle of South Tyrol, Austria and Switzerland, the cultural diversity and solidarity of our regions will once again be showcased. After the Swiss pop artist Beatrice Egli opened the Venosta Festival Series 2025 on 30 May, we are delighted to welcome the band LaBrassBanda to the festival grounds in Glurns on 6 September 2025, against a breathtaking backdrop. Festival "Tanzlmusig" in Teis

Villnöss/Funes, Dolomites Region Villnösstal

Out of enthusiasm for alpine folk music and the joy of making music together, musicians from the Teis band founded the group ‘Teiser Tanzlmusig’ in 1997. In 2002, the ‘Teiser Tanzlmusigfest’, a festival that is still unique in South Tyrol today, was organised for the first time. Traditional, down-to-earth folk music, social get-togethers, local specialities and delicacies and a pleasant time are the focus of the event. The event begins at 09.30 am with a Holy Mass on the festival square in Teis. This is followed by the performances by various music groups.

Welcome to the Altstadtfest (Old Town Festival)! Every two years the associations of Bolzano invite you to the Old Town Festival at "King Laurin". These are non-profit associations that work on a voluntary basis in the fields of sport, leisure, culture and customs. They want to use the proceeds from this festival to fill their coffers so that they can once again put on great events for young and old throughout the year. In order for this to succeed, this festival requires the commitment of around 850 volunteers!

On Saturday festival of the local music band. On Sunday the festival starts with a typical morning pint or "Frühschoppen". The highlight of the festival is the traditional procession through the village. The beautifully decorated festive floats illustrate themes and scenes of village- and rural life. Various music bands accompany the festive pageant with lively sounds. The folk music band "Die Söhne Tirols" provides a lively atmosphere and entertainment until late in the evening.

Sunrise hike to the Völsegg Peak and breakfast at the Tschafon mountain hut

Get up bright and early to enjoy the peace of morning while out hiking. What could be better than enjoying the peace and quiet of morning in the mountains? During the guided hike from Tiers to the Völsegg Peak, a breathtaking view of the Dolomites awaits you. In the family-run Tschafon mountain refuge between the the imposing Schlern Massif and the legendary Rosengarten Massif you will enjoy a special mountaineer breakfast featuring quality products from South Tyrol. In the late morning the hiking guide will take you back to Tiers. If you want to stay a little longer, you can relax on a blanket in the extensive meadow. DURATION OF THE HIKE (WITHOUT REST) 2:15 h to Völsegg Peak (4,1 km; 638 m uphill), 15 min from Völsegg Peak to Tschafon mountain refuge (0,8 km; 102 m downhill), 2:50 h from Tschafon mountain refuge passing Schönblick back to Tiers (8,5 km; 749 m downhill)
