Our events combines music and enjoyment in the village centre. Visitors can also expect a tasting of alpine and mediterranean delicacies during a traditional concert by our local music bands.

The Fascinating Vineyard: an exploration of Cortaccia Winery’s diverse vineyard sites, complete with wine tasting. The diversity of Cortaccia Winery’s vineyard sites is unique in South Tyrol. Altitudes ranging from 200 to 900 metres, southeast and southwest exposures, and soils varying from sandy-gravely to rocky to red-clay lend each wine its own individual character. Join us on an expedition in exploration of the best sites, and taste each wine directly at its place of origin. (Groups of 10 or more may also book individual tours)

ONLY IN GERMAN OR ITALIAN Niedereben Farm is situated at an altitude of 634 metres on Nörderberg mountain. Benefiting from the advantageous climate, olives, grapes and cacti all flourish here. The Hofer family supplies the local organic specialist retailer (Biokistl) with its fruit and vegetables and sells a variety of home produced, typical South Tyrolean organic products in their own farm shop. Cows, pigs, quails, ducks, geese and chickens all feel like “pigs in clover” on the farm! This introduction to the long history of the farm gives visitors an insight into livestock husbandry and wine growing on the Vinschgau’s Nörderberg mountain and shows the route taken from the first olives to the production of the farm’s own olive oil. The following products are available to buy directly from the farm shop: speck (bacon), salami, smoked sausages, cooked herb-crusted ham, Coppa ham, farmer’s speck, seasonal fruit and vegetables, and in the autumn months chestnuts and pumpkins, apple juice and Vernatsch wine.

We propose cooking lessons based on simple ingredients. You can learn about our traditional Ladin cooking linked to local traditions. In a few hours, you can learn to cook and finally enjoy some Ladin specialities. The cook speaks Italian and German. Information and reservation at the tourist offices or online by the day before (limited places). Our events is entirely dedicated to the Tyrolean sounds of our local music bands. In addition, visitors can also expect performances by our local Bavarian folk dance and folk dance groups on some evenings.

The South Tyrolean Marende is traditionally eaten in the afternoon (between lunch and dinner) and consists of South Tyrolean speck, Schüttelbrot bread and a glass of wine. It is also often accompanied by a Kaminwurz and cheese. Today, the Marende is still a tradition among farmers and can also be found on the menus of mountain huts and restaurants. Get to know the traditional Marende and experience the essence of South Tyrol on your plate! The event is held in German and Italian.

Guided "Törggele" hike with guide Helena Graf, with a stop at the traditional farm "Glangerhof" and a cosy get-together in the "Stube". Experience the fascinating world of apples with Karin! Watch the experienced farmer in action and gain unique insights into the art of apple harvesting. Afterwards, Karin shares secrets and stories from her everyday life. To top off your experience, taking a bite of the freshly picked, juicy fruit is an absolute must!

The guided hike with Günther leads through old farmsteads and mountain restaurants, through sloping vineyards, chestnut groves and orchards. You will have the possibility to learn more about typical farms and the winegrowing during a wine tasting at the Prackfoler farm. The lunch with traditional dishes at the Innerperskoler farm inn is not only a culinary pleasure, it helps you to recharge your batteries for the hike back to the starting point. Wine tasting: the three wines from the Prackfolerhof will be tasted. Children receive juices for free. Lunch: The price includes appetizer, main course ("Schlachtplatte"), chestnuts (if available) and sweet "Krapfen". Drinks have to be paid extra.

Even today, as in the past, the harvest festival is a reminder of Thanksgiving Day, celebrated in gratitude for what has been received during the past year. The establishments belonging to the Locanda Sudtirolese group have decided to take care of this tradition, this year putting the forest in the spotlight. Products such as mushrooms, chestnuts, berries, game, wild herbs and much more are transformed by restaurateurs into tasty dishes with an unmistakable flavor. At the popular "Vieh- & Kramermärkte" you can find tasty and useful things. Four times a year, market stalls with local delicacies, everyday necessities and clothing await visitors.

The Event "Meransener Almabtrieb" has a long tradition and has developed into a true South Tyrolean folk festival. Various folk dance groups, traditional costume associations, Schuhplattler groups, the Meransen rifle band and many more take part in the parade of colourfully decorated cows.

The traditional fair also better known as "Micheli market" takes place yearly in Martelltal Valley. A wide range of products attracts guests from near and far to the typical market.

The Dolomites Medium Delicious Trail is a foot race along the paths of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, about 35 km with 1,900 metres of positive difference in altitude, starting from the centre of La Villa in front of the tourist office. Maximum time: 9 hours. From the centre of La Villa, the route follows for a stretch the Path of the Artists and leads to San Cassiano. There begins the ascent along the Altin ski run to the iconic Gran Risa and Piz La Villa, crosses the Armentarola area and the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park. From there, the path takes the runners up to Mt. Lagazuoi at an altitude of 2,778 m, followed by the descent to the finish line at Pocol, for a total of around 35 km and 1.900 metres of elevation gain: pure pleasure! There are 4 wonderful refreshment points along the Alta Badia route, which have been set up by Team Delicious, where you can take a break and enjoy quality products and local specialities.
