The Language Café is a way to practise speaking a foreign language in company and in an informal environment. At the Don Bosco Library in Laives you will find a moderator for each table, i.e. for each language. Depending on the language you want to practise in, choose your table, sit down and... start chatting! You will talk to the moderator or moderator and the other people like you sitting at that table. If you get tired, you can safely leave or change tables. In general, it is recommended that you have a basic knowledge of your chosen language in order to be able to follow the conversation and participate actively.

Revensch is the successful band of South Tyrolean singer and saxophonist Helga Plankensteiner and pianist Michael Lösch. Klezmer, Balkan grooves, Dixieland, funk, and 1920s chansons are skillfully transformed into unique arrangements and performed with great enthusiasm. Revensch has already played at numerous festivals from the Alps to the Mediterranean, such as Dolomitskijazz, Südtirol Jazzfestival, Lana Meets Jazz, Garda Jazz, Projazz Festival, PercFest Laigueglia, Venetojazz, Trentinoinjazz, Most und Jazz, Murszene Graz, and many more.

This 6-piece band arrange and perform well-known mountain-choir pieces including La Valsugana, La Villanella and Entorno al Foc, and folk songs of the Trentino region (e.g. I Canederli) in the purest of American style: All the light-hearted fun, energy, innovation and entertainment of country music and a touch of heart-wrenching emotion – showing us, once again the kinship of affinity shared by folk music the world over.

BandaStorta is an audacious ensemble in which every member gives free rein to his artistic imagination. BandaStorta was created by eclectic minds and distorted souls who find their natural balance in arrangements overflowing with the flair and flavour of a circus performance.

Every Thursday from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, a special atmosphere awaits you at the Paolina Hut, in the heart of the Carezza Dolomites ski area. Enjoy the captivating sounds of the traditional music band "Sandler Musik" and indulge in the warm hospitality and delicious homemade cuisine. Period: Every Thursday from January 16 to March 26, 2025 (except 13.02.) Time: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM Location: Paolina hut, Carezza Dolomites Come by and let yourself be enchanted by the music, the scenery, and the unique hut atmosphere.

In March, the ski slopes and mountain tops of the Seiser Alm will reverberate with sweet melodies. Six days long, amid dazzling sunshine and snow-capped mountains, skiers and snowboarders, as they glide across the slopes, will be able to enjoy sweet melodies and dynamic rhythms provided by accomplished musicians. "Swing on Snow" is an opportunity to listen to and enjoy authentic Alpine folk music – with the emphasis on "authentic". The bands play on the various ski slopes on the Seiser Alm in the morning, at lunchtime they perform in the mountain huts of the Seiser Alm and in the evening the villages of Castelrotto, Siusi, Fiè and Tires host atmospheric after ski concerts. The concerts are free of charge and there is no seat reservation needed. During the WinterMusicFestvial musical enjoyment combines perfectly with skiing. The 17th edition of Swing on Snow will take place twice over three days from 13.03.-15.03.2025 and from 19.03.-21.03.2025.

A mobile and flexible constellation of three open-minded guys present melody, harmony and rhythm in terms of a rebirth of traditional folk – and other songs…The Swing on Snow band can be found performing on the ski slopes of the Seiser Alm.

Skiing with lederhosen or dirndl!!! Traditional music, colourful interludes, good pistes and plenty of snow. The ‘Lederhosen in the snow’ event in Ladurns combines a wonderful day's skiing with local tradition. The ski music event always takes place on the third Saturday in March. On 15 March 2025, fans of traditional costumes and lederhosen will once again gather on the slopes in Ladurns and experience skiing madness on the slopes, in the huts and....

The Dienstag Nacht Kapelle has been shaking up the Late-Night Show Willkommen Österreich with Stermann and Grissemann on Austrian television every week since 2007. Their performances with musical guests, whose songs they reinterpret in a fresh and powerful way, have become legendary. Herbert Grönemeyer, Helene Fischer, Helge Schneider, Nena, Sarah Connor, Fettes Brot, Sportfreunde Stiller, and many others are just a few of the almost 100 stars they’ve already accompanied. Especially for the Seiser Alm, they now present a full show with the singer Evi Mair, who is known far beyond the borders of South Tyrol.

Styrian accordion and violin. With these two instruments and in close harmony, South Tyrolean musicians David Frank and Magdalena Oberstaller create unique sounds. Their original compositions are rooted in traditional styles but also embrace worldly tones, free improvisations, and lively melodies reminiscent of Astor Piazzolla's music, with influences ranging from blues, jazz, and folk to traditional folk music. On stage, the duo escapes everyday life and takes the audience on a musical journey.

Diatonic accordion, violin, guitar, and tuba – the four virtuoso musicians of MAXJOSEPH weave a dynamic and exquisitely chamber-like fabric with an elegance and lightness that one would not typically associate with folk music. In their improvisations, hints of jazz shimmer through; in their flawless interplay, classical training becomes evident; and in their manifold influences, the broad horizons of four world citizens shine through, all while remaining deeply rooted in their homeland. The ensemble engages with folk music in a way that breaks clichés and gives rise to new, extraordinary ideas. Original music, light-footed and charming, that has been missing not only in Bavaria but far beyond its borders.

This Italian group tries to recover the jazz music of the peak years of this genre and renders it with interpretative and original approach. The musicians’ modern experiences seep through the sound, which found on execution, arrangements and improvisation.

Lukas Insam 4tet proposes a powerful mix of Blues, Country, Funk and Rock. Improvisation, creativity and attention to details. They are particular in everything, even in their vivacious live exhibitions and in their “concert” attire. A decidedly unconventional Band, exactly like their music with a playlist of pieces that can easily space from slow entirely acoustic tracks to wild funk rhythms.

Sun | Sëida is a rock band from Val Gardena born at the end of 2022. The five musicians Pauli, Gabriel, Ujep, Martin and vocalist Carmen enjoy interpreting well-known rock hits as well as composing their own songs. They sing in Italian, German, English and Ladin, expressing their cultural diversity. Experience a rocking afternoon with Sun | Sëida!

Rock The Dolomites, the great musical event everyone looks forward to is back in its ‘snow home’, rock-bands will perform on what is surely the most beautiful stage setting in the world – the Dolomites of Val Gardena, part of a UNESCO World Heritage.

The Kronplatz Ski & Music Festival will once again delight all winter sports and music lovers in 2025. New this year: the festival will be offered in two different themed weeks, offering something for every taste: At the Kronplatz Ski & Music Festival Band Edition from March 20 to 23, 2025, everything revolves around pop and street music. There is plenty of singing and partying on the slopes and in 13 huts - 9 well-known bands and street musicians from all over Europe will provide a rousing atmosphere while skiers can enjoy the breathtaking slopes of Kronplatz. The following week, from March 27 to 30, 2025, 6 hip DJs take over the stage at the Kronplatz Ski & Music Festival DJ Edition. The cool beats of electronic music will make the mountains vibrate and create a unique party atmosphere both in the huts and on the slopes.

Rise o’Clock is a young band from Alta Badia, consisting of five local musicians who express their passion for music through covers of their favorite artists and their own songs. Inspired by music legends such as Joe Cocker, Amy Winehouse, TOTO, and the Beatles, they blend rock and pop into a unique sound. A highlight of their journey was the release of their first single "I’m Gone," in spring 2024.

Madhouse are five guys from the province of Modena who have been reinterpreting rock and hard rock songs from the '70s and '80s since 2007. They later began writing their own songs, which eventually led to the release of their first album 'Identity.' Powerful sounds and breathtaking guitar solos define a setlist composed of original tracks and cover versions of the most famous rock hits from the '80s.

The concert highlight of the year 2025 is taking place in the Klausberg ski area in Ahrntal valley. The group "Die Kastelruther" will play exclusively for fans and winter sports enthusiasts from 2 p.m.
