As the sun sets on the horizon, casting a breathtaking play of colors across the sky and the Dolomite mountains, a culinary experience of the highest class begins: The Chef's Open Air – Sunset Edition in the Eggental Valley. 6 Eggen Valley gourmet chefs, 4 old wood-fired ovens, 1 legendary mountain backdrop: the main ingredients for the Chefs’ Open Air as part of Eggental Valley’s Culturinarika. In the picturesque alpine meadows below the farm Stadlalm in Welschnofen, between the Rosengarten and the Latemar, between the grill and the fire pit, between creative and sophisticated creations, at this event you can look over the shoulders of the chefs as they prepare their delicious dishes. Wines by renowned South Tyrolean winemakers will be served in keeping with the delicious food. A welcome aperitif and a selection of savory appetizers will be served at the entrance. Coffee enjoyment is available during the event, too. Those in the mood for cool drinks will be well catered for at the Getränke Holzknecht stand. Concert as part of the Badiamusica Festival with the Duo Ariarathes, featuring Jakob Mitterer on cello and Nika Afazel on the piano. The musicians will present a program spanning centuries of music for cello and piano, featuring works by Bach, Beethoven and Rachmaninoff. Entrance is free. Food trucks, passionate and amateur chefs will meet in the Rappanlagen facilities of Brixen and create high-quality food. The event is accompanied by a 3-day musical programme. The Parish of Lengmoos celebrates its anniversary on Saturday with an organ concert by organist Nikita Gasser at 8.30 p.m., Afterwards, a toast will be held in the church square, with voluntary donations.

Right in the very heart of the unique Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage, an Alpine Mountain Marathon with a length of 45 km and around 3,000 m of elevation difference will be setting off from Tires al Catinaccio: the Catinaccio-Sciliar Sky Marathon. The challenging mountain race will begin in Tires, lead round the Catinaccio Massif, over the Sciliar, past the Monte Cavone Hut and back to Tires. The highest point of the Sky Marathon is the Principe Pass at 2,630 m.

The festival begins at 10:00 AM, and the Tiers band will take care of your well-being with delicious refreshments. Enjoy live music from Karerbrass and later from Bergdiamanten, making the day musically unforgettable.

There are three evenings under the stars and each evening is dedicated to a different motto. A gourmet menu with a panoramic view! The Berglertafel mountaineers’ dinner is a five-course menu of typical dishes from Tiers served in a stunning setting. The venue is Proa, a mountain pasture with a view of the Rosengarten. There is arguably no other vantage point in Tiers am Rosengarten from where you can see the famous alpenglow of King Laurin’s famous kingdom ... and all this while enjoying a fabulous gourmet menu. The table is more than a 100 metre long and can seat 170 gourmets who – in the form of a row – can enjoy a fabulous meal and, at the same time, this unique view of the Rosengarten.
