The world's cross-country skiing elite will once again be guests in Dobbiaco - together we will celebrate the turn of the year. From 29 December to 1 January 2025, the best cross-country skiers in the world will be competing for prestigious World Cup points in the Nordic Arena in Dobbiaco. The Coop Fis Tour de Ski 2024/2025 will open like fireworks on 29 December 2024 with a sprint in the free technique. The classic individual race will take place on 31 December and the crowning glory will be the pursuit race , with a new unique course overlooking the Three Peaks on 1 January 2025. Stay tuned.

Just in time for the end of the year, the countdown to the New Year begins in Brixen at the Cathedral Square from 22 o'clock with musical accompaniment and gastronomic catering by the food stalls at the Christmas Market.

The Wiener Sängerknaben is one of the most famous choirs in the world, and one of the oldest: the first reference to choirboys in Vienna Castle dates back to 1296. Two hundred years later, on July 7, 1498, the future Roman-German Emperor Maximilian I founded a chapel in Vienna in which boys were to sing alongside adult singers; choirboys from Augsburg, Innsbruck and Freiburg im Breisgau were sent to Vienna for this purpose. They were to sing "an ambt" every day. This laid the foundation for the Vienna Boys' Choir. Like their modern-day successors, the boys were always "on the road" with their imperial employer - they sang at imperial festivals, coronations, weddings, processions and court festivals. Over the centuries, the Viennese court attracted brilliant musicians such as Heinrich Isaac, Johann Josef Fux, Christoph Willibald Gluck and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Joseph and Michael Haydn and Franz Schubert sang in the choir as boys; Anton Bruckner was their singing and piano teacher. The arrival of this beautiful time of year is traditionally celebrated in Schenna with a big Spring Festival run by the Voluntary Fire Brigade. All ages get together in the covered Raiffeisenplatz in the centre of the village to celebrate, dance and have a fun time. Alongside live music and all kinds of food and beverages, there is entertainment for the little ones, a vintage car blessing for the big ones and the traditional Sunday morning drink for everyone.

A gourmet menu with a panoramic view! The Berglertafel mountaineers’ dinner is a five-course menu of typical dishes from Tiers served in a stunning setting. The venue is Proa, a mountain pasture with a view of the Rosengarten. There is arguably no other vantage point in Tiers am Rosengarten from where you can see the famous alpenglow of King Laurin’s famous kingdom ... and all this while enjoying a fabulous gourmet menu. On Friday, 27 October at 8.30 p.m., the Algund Music Band once again invites all brass music lovers to listen to an hour of contemplative brass music in the parish church of St. Joseph in Algund. At this year's church concert, director Christian Laimer will enjoy that beautiful music. For the musicians of the Algund Music Band, a concert in "their" parish church is always a special experience and a great musical challenge. The musicians are happy to meet you! Begining of the Festival at 2 p.m. Beginning of the course at 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. big after-Show Party with the devils of Kastelruth Every 2 years a Krampus run takes place in Kastelruth, with groups from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. The shappy fright figures with their artfully carved masks will provide again for a mad athmosphere, when they move in the village center and introduce themselves to the public. Various clubs will provide food and drinks on the parade. Afterwards a Krampus party is celebrated in the heated tent with a DJ until late into the night.

Already for the 22nd time the Bressanone Old Town Festival takes place. Nothing has changed in the basic idea that the Old Town Committee set itself over thirty years ago: To organize a festival within the walls of the city of Bressanone in order to show to all citizens, but also to all guests, the beauty of our city worth preserving, combined with the intention of preserving it and, where necessary, restoring it with love and expertise.
