The South Tyrolean Unterland Tourism Association invites you to the concert at the Turmhof Tiefenbrunner Castle Winery with the Aurora Duo - violin and harp - on 18 October 2024 as part of the "WineSounds of the Alto Adige Wine Road" festival. Access from 6.30 p.m. onwards. The concert will start at 8 pm. The Turmhof Tiefenbrunner Castle Winery in Entiklar/Kurtatsch is an 800-year-old property surrounded by beautiful vineyards and an idyllic courtyard with ancient trees and a large castle park: the perfect setting for the concert. The concert is accompanied by exquisite wines and refined appetisers.

From early afternoon till late at night the famous "Traminer Weingassl" or Wine Alleyway will be scene of exciting adventures which, for a few hours at least, will take you far from your daily routine and offer you a special evening in the magnificent autumn detting, along the Wine Road. The celebrations of the "Wine Alleyway", in the heart of the historic centre of Termeno which is open only to pedestrians, is an appointment not to be missed: the best Traminer wines will be offered in cups made for this very occasion along with special South Tyrolean delicacies in an atmosphere of music and folklore.

The Steinegg Live Festival, which has become popular beyond the borders, is entering its 28th round this year. As in previous years, the organisers offer a smorgasbord of music and culture between mid and late October ... a mix of local art and foreign guests. Chance writes the best stories. In 2015, Albert Wieder stepped in as as a stand-in for Mnozil Brass. Together with Thomas Gansch and Leonhard Paul, they started playing an encore at the end of every Mnozil Brass show. A new one on every tour. Off the cuff, very spontaneously and with little to no rehearsal, they took to the stage and did what music-making is all about - communicating. Over time, a whole concert programme developed, with songs from all corners of their three universes: George Michael, Franz Schubert, Chuck Mangione, Johann Strauss, Toots Thielemans, Udo Jürgens, Henry Mancini, Billy Joel and so on and so forth. Giulia Tornarolli invites us to rediscover our body as a means of communication. Drawing on various practices from dance, theatre and contact improvisation, this work allows us to regain awareness of the body and strengthen our attention to it. Dancer, performer and teacher based in Brussels, Giuia Tornarolli began her freelance career after studying at NSCD and SEAD. She works with international artists such as Sebastian Zuber, Edivaldo Ernesto and Panorama Dance Theater. Since 2019 she has been developing her own idiom as an artist through performances designed for different cultural contexts. She also leads workshops on improvisation and body education.

Concert with the band of Rabenstein at the Raiffeisen Square

On October 20, 2024, the Nova Ponente music band concert will be held in the central square of Nova Ponente. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of tradition and enjoy a concert full of engaging music. This event combines community and musical brilliance, inviting everyone to participate in this cultural experience. Beginning: 11:00 a.m.

The traditional "Erntedank"-procession will be accompanied by the Parcines music band. After the Holy Mass and the procession, a short concert will be held. The "Welsberger Kirta" starts with the festive parade of the Monguelfo music band through the village center. A request concert follows on the main square, where visitors can enjoy their favorite music. Food and drink are well catered for, with Tyrolean specialties, drinks and Kirtakrapfen. This event promises not only musical delights, but also a convivial get-together in a festive atmosphere.

The second concert of the series "winesounds along the Alto Adige Wine Road" offers a matinee in Andriano, in the picturesque courtyard of the Sternbauerhof, with the Dolomiti Saxophone Quartet, whose "enchanting music" will fill the courtyard with harmonious sounds. The Dolomiti Saxophone Quartet is renowned for its eclectic repertoire, which includes American and European chamber music, Argentinian tangos, klezmer, swing, minimalist and ethnic sounds. Their ability to move between genres offers a rich and compelling sonic experience, capable of transporting audiences through a kaleidoscope of emotions and moods. The quartet's harmonious melodies will blend perfectly with the enchanting setting of the Sternbauer farm, creating a magical and unforgettable atmosphere. After the concert, the spotlight will be on the fine wines of the Cantina Andriano Winery.

The music bands of Eppan vitalize their audience with a diverse repertoire in the historic walls and courtyards. The visitors walk through palaces, castles and residences and experience on this simple walking route a pleasant mix of autumnal atmosphere, history and music.

We want to bring children closer to classical music from their earliest months, helping them to discover naturally a mysterious world that actually belongs to us from birth. We have devised a season of performances to be enjoyed in the company of the whole family: from opera to interactive concerts, the stage will become an intimate, playful and welcoming space, ready to accompany us on curious musical explorations.

Three castels in one night ("Drei Burgen in einer Nacht") in Prissian/Prissiano, is a short walk with torchlights from Castel Fahlburg to the Castle Wehrburg and to Castel Katzenzungen meanwhile you enjoy cultural and culinary surprises and at the end of the evening will be serverd a degustation dinner based on the local chestnut. On October 24, the Eppan Tourist Association invites you to a special evening at Freudenstein Castle, starting from 8 pm: The quintet "Cinquino Brass Ensemble" will take you on a fascinating journey through the finest South Tyrolean brass music. They will present the suite "Hommage to the noble Grapes", which musically explores a wide variety of wines from all over the world. The varied program is complemented by exciting works from the world of music and promises to leave nothing to be desired. You can also enjoy excellent wines from the winery Brigl in Eppan and fine delicacies, which Danilo D'Ambra combines in a sophisticated way from the traditions of Campanian and South Tyrolean cuisine. This culinary experience is accompanied by a unique art exhibition entitled "Wine in the Line" by the renowned Eppan artist Rainer Kainrath. The successful architect and long-standing representative of the South Tyrolean Artists' Association presents his works in an impressive performance. You also have the opportunity to discover an exclusive "secret exhibition" in a secluded room, which offers further insights into Kainrath's fascinating work. Kaltern Pop is the name of Kaltern's lakeview festival, entirely dedicated to everyone who is fond of music, wine and good food. Those who haven't missed the last edition of the Kaltern Pop Festival will remember it as three truly unforgettable October days: about 30 international bands as well as solo artists have inspired and touched both local and foreign visitors with their different styles and great professionalism. Moreover, the wonderful locations as well as the Franciscan Church enriched the experience. Three long evenings characterized by thunderous applauses, nice encounters, new friends and inspiring conversations couldn't remain just a nice memory. A special evening in Bolzano, UNESCO Creative City of Music, in collaboration with the Bolzano Concert Association. From 18.30, a glass of sparkling wine will welcome guests to the Dominican monastery, followed by the concert with the Ensemble Desiderio at 19.30 in the Conservatory C. Monteverdi. After the concert, expert sommeliers will present three wines from Bolzano in the atmospheric setting of the monastery. A guided tour of St. Catherine’s Chapel (at 9.00 pm) will conclude the event.

The HENRIK FREISCHLADER BAND from Germany and the BRUCE KATZ BAND from the USA will be performing at the BLUES NIGHT of this year's Steinegg Live Festival. This will be followed by a jam session with all interested musicians present. HENRIK FREISCHLADER has shared stages with B.B. King, Gary Moore, Peter Green, Johnny Winter, Joe Bonamassa and the Tedeschi Trucks Band and, after numerous European tours, has become an integral part of the international blues (rock) scene - and has long since ceased to be an insider tip! And he was already at the Steinegg Live Festival in 2011. His virtuoso and passionate guitar playing, his raspy, distinctive voice and a feel for good grooves have characterised his unmistakable style over the years. On Friday, 25 October at 8.30 p.m., the Algund Music Band once again invites all brass music lovers to listen to an hour of contemplative brass music in the parish church of St. Joseph in Algund. At this year's church concert, director Christian Laimer will enjoy that beautiful music. For the musicians of the Algund Music Band, a concert in "their" parish church is always a special experience and a great musical challenge. The musicians are happy to meet you!
