Discover the winter idyll of the Carezza ski area with a snowshoe hike under the impressive rock walls of the Rosengarten – a winter experience that will enchant you. Tour Description: After ascending with the cable car from Tiers, we take the public bus to bus stop Kaiserstein, where we start our hike. The first part of the hike leads us initially downhill to the hotel Moseralm and then uphill across the Kölblegg-Frin meadows to Kuregg, below the Kölner Hütte at 2,000 m. After a short descent, we reach the Messnerjoch alpine hut, where we take a lunch break. The subsequent descent leads us back to the Tiers cable car. Meeting point: The meeting point is at 09:00 am at the valley station of the Tiers cable car. A second meeting point for guests from the Eggental Valley is at the Welschnofen cable car mountain station at 09:30. We kindly ask all participants to arrive at the meeting point 5 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. This will allow us to start the tour on time and ensure that we don’t miss the bus at Frommer Alm. Accompanied by our mountain guide, we head from the Mastaun farmstead (1,640 m) along the stream into the Mastaun valley. After passing the Mastaun alpine hut (1,810 m), the tour heads into the rear part of the valley up to an altitude of approximately 2,000 m. During a pleasant rest, you can enjoy the tranquillity of nature and the quiet winter idyll. Afterwards, you return to the meeting point. Walking time: approx. 4-5 hours including breaks. This snowshoe hike is particularly suitable for those who have never used this fun tool. The route is easy and without any technical difficulties, but allows you to approach hiking in fresh snow, a wonderful way to connect with winter nature.
