The craftsmen of Tesimo invite you to a convivial evening with roasted chestnuts, "Suser" (grape must) and wine in the centre of Tesimo.

According to the motto "Someone always spins", the Spinnradl has been processing local sheep's wool since 1948 and creating special cardigans that are completely customised to the individual needs of the customer. Owner Franz will guide you through the workshops, where you will experience the old craft at first hand, from washing the wool to carding, spinning, knitting and sewing the jackets. After an introduction to the craft, you can give free rein to your own creativity with felting. At the end, a tasting of regional delicacies awaits you at Spezialitäten Pamer. The event will be in German and Italian.

Short hike with guided tour through the chestnut groves of the "Mair am Turm" farm in Grissiano. In front of the historic farm chestnuts are roasted and tasted. After that the hike goes back to the Schmiedlhof (tavern), where a "Marende" is served and enjoyed.

Would you like to discover the art of baking bread? Then join farmer Elisabeth on a walk to Schildhof Obergereuth, where you will learn all about bread. Together, you will prepare the dough and shape the pumpkin bread, which is then placed in the oven. While the bread smells in the oven, we enjoy a delicious potato soup with cheese from the Schupferhof cheese dairy and bacon from the Oberpirchhof farm. Will the end result taste good? At the popular "Vieh- & Kramermärkte" you can find tasty and useful things. Four times a year, market stalls with local delicacies, everyday necessities and clothing await visitors.

The "Leonardiritt" begins on Saturday with a special evening dedicated to Ladin music. Gastronomic specialties will be served in the tent. On Sunday the festivities continue with the celebration of the Holy Mass at 09:00 a.m. and with the horse parade in honour of San Leonardo, patron saint of horses and riders, with horses and traditional costumes from South Tyrol at 10:45 a.m.. The music bands from Moena, St. Georgen and Badia will take part in the parade. On 11 November 2024, St. Martin's Day will be held in St. Martin/S. Martino, celebrating the holy patron saint of the village. Programme: At 9 pm, the festive service will take place in the parish church. Afterwards, a brass band of the St. Martin's music band plays a concert on the village square, and the St. Martin's market of the mission group also takes place. At 5:30 pm the traditional St. Martin's procession starts through the village to the village square. After the reception of St. Martin on the village square, St. Martin's songs will be sung by the kindergarten and primary school children and the St. Martin's play will be performed. Afterwards, the 14th St. Martin's Goose Run will take place, where there are great prizes to be won. Tips for the goose run can be handed in to SKJ members and in the shops of St. Martin. The SKJ St. Martin will frame the whole day with delicious doughnuts and drinks on the village square.

The 6th Krampus Run in Nova Levante goes from the cable car station to the Community House. Experience the thrilling atmosphere as fearsome Krampuses march through the streets. This event showcases fascinating masks, loud bells, and traditional costumes that bring alpine culture to life. After the run, enjoy a DJ and music for a festive atmosphere.

With Elisabeth Taibon Karnutsch, we all learn how an insect nest is built. See how at the Taser Alm we make our own wholegrain breads and pastas, from start to finish. Maybe it’s the special atmosphere or the wonderful memories that let us love the Christmastime, but also the Christmas bells spread the magic – it’s simply the happiest time of the year. Sterzing in the north of Southtyrol is surrounded by the beautiful sound of ringing bells in all its forms and sounds. The hollow and smooth sound of the church bells, or even the friendly bells of local cows and farm animals – every bell has his own importance. Christmas in Sterzing is all about joyful bells with their warming sounds.

The Tyrolean Advent in the Castle will be taking place in the historic ambience of Tyrol Castle. Tyrol Castle provides an atmospheric backdrop for a genuine South Tyrolean Christmas experience. Local exhibitors will present traditional handicrafts such as felting, pottery, turning, spinning, braiding, dyeing and the production of ceramics or jewelry in the castle's rooms. There will be a well-balanced program of events for visitors every day during Advent in the Castle: whilst crackling fires make for a cozy atmosphere, food stands will offer traditional dishes, baked goods and drinks. The Christmas market will also be attended by choirs and music groups, and there will also be all kinds of entertainment for children.

This year, the BK Völlan Advent stall will once again be held in front of the Völlan kindergarten. Open on weekends and public holidays from 29 to 24 December.

Strolling and shopping at the Christmas Market in Lana is particularly cozy and stress-free. During the four Advent weekends, more than 20 stalls offer genuine South Tyrolean artisanal crafts created with passion as unique Christmas gifts. At the culinary stands, visitors will find delicious specialties for every taste: traditional mulled wine, fruity hot apple drinks and soups to warm you up, farmer's bread, stuffed pretzels and Christmas hamburgers are only part of the culinary variety on offer. Atmospheric live music by local bands frames the holiday spirit and hustle and bustle of the market, and young visitors can have fun with pony rides, handicraft workshops and Punch and Judy shows. On 5 and 31 December 2024, only the gastronomic stands are open.
